This individual will support the Oracle-based data environment underlying NIMS/CMIS and the interfaces connecting NIMS with FAA financial systems, including PRISM and Delphi.\nThis is a hands-on position requiring expertise in enterprise Oracle databases, advanced SQL development, data integration, data validation, reporting, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, and production database support.\nNIMS performs critical financial-management functions involving obligations/de-obligations, invoice/payment processing and financial reporting. The system receives financial information from FAA's PRISM and Delphi systems and makes that information available to NIMS/TSSC financial personnel.\nThe developer will maintain these interfaces, investigate data discrepancies, support data refreshes, develop and maintain reporting functionality, and participate in designing the future data architecture supporting NISC V.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Oracle databases supporting NIMS/CMIS. \nDevelop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, scripts, and data-processing routines. \nSupport Oracle Database 19c Enterprise Edition. \nUse and support SQL*Plus, Toad, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), RMAN, and Oracle Data Pump. \nPerform database administration and production database support. \nMonitor database performance and troubleshoot performance issues. \nPerform backup, recovery, archiving, data refresh, and restoration activities. \nMaintain interfaces between NIMS and FAA PRISM and Delphi financial systems. \nExecute and monitor recurring financial-data refreshes. \nAnalyze incoming PRISM/Delphi information and identify and correct data errors. \nTroubleshoot interface failures and data-quality problems. \nCoordinate and test interface modifications resulting from PRISM or Delphi upgrades. \nSupport KFDB database refreshes and reporting. \nDevelop and modify operational and financial reports. \nSupport invoice and payment-processing issue resolution. \nSupport database security, access controls, patching, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity scans. \nDevelop and maintain database documentation, data dictionaries, interface specifications, and operating procedures. \nParticipate in Transition-In knowledge transfer and validation of databases, integrations, jobs, scripts, and operational procedures. \nSupport data architecture, migration, integration, and reporting requirements for NISC V. \nFAA specifically identifies Oracle 19c, SQL*Plus, Toad, OEM, RMAN and Data Pump in the current environment. The SOW also requires recurring PRISM/Delphi data refreshes, error correction, KFDB support and testing of financial interfaces.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience. \n7+ years of Oracle database development, database administration, data engineering, or enterprise integration experience. \nAdvanced SQL development skills. \nStrong Oracle Database experience. \nExperience with Oracle Database 19c or comparable enterprise Oracle environments. \nExperience with Oracle backup, recovery, maintenance, and performance tuning. \nExperience with SQL*Plus and database-management tools such as Toad. \nExperience with Oracle Enterprise Manager. \nExperience with RMAN and Oracle Data Pump. \nExperience developing and maintaining enterprise data integrations/interfaces. \nExperience diagnosing data discrepancies and interface failures. \nExperience with ETL/data-processing concepts. \nExperience supporting production databases and business-critical applications. \nStrong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience integrating financial, ERP, procurement, invoicing, or contract-management systems. \nPRISM and/or Delphi experience. \nFederal financial-management systems experience. \nAWS database/cloud experience. \nExperience supporting ATO/cybersecurity requirements. \nExperience developing financial and operational reporting. \nOracle
