The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of business-critical applications through automated and manual testing practices.\nPrior experience in Alternative Investments, Asset Management, Private Equity, Credit, Real Estate, or Financial Services is highly preferred.\nPrimary Functions and Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Python.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing of web-based applications.\nAnalyze business and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.\nCreate and maintain reusable automation scripts to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.\nExecute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines and identify opportunities for continuous quality improvements.\nLog, track, and validate defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.\nWork closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other QA team members to ensure quality objectives are achieved.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.\nPrepare and communicate testing status, metrics, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.\nRequired Qualifications-\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.\nRelevant QA Automation certifications are a plus.\nExperience\n4-6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.\nProven hands-on experience with:Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Python based Test Automation Frameworks\n\nExperience working within Agile/Scrum delivery models.\nExperience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.\nStrong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and quality engineering best practices.\nAbility to create and execute SQL queries for backend data validation.\nDomain Experience\nPreferred\nExperience in:Alternative Investments, Asset Management, Private Equity\nCredit Funds, Real Estate Investments, Financial Services\n\nTechnical Skills -\nAutomation & Testing\nSelenium WebDriver, Playwright, Python\nPyTest / Unittest\nAPI Testing (Postman, REST APIs)\nRegression Testing, Functional Testing\nTest Management\nAzure DevOps, JIRA, Test Plans\nDefect Lifecycle Management\nCI/CD & Tools\nGit/GitHub, Azure DevOps Pipelines\nJenkins (preferred), Source Control Management\nAdditional Preferred Skills\nBDD frameworks (Behave/PyTest BDD)\nAPI Automation, Performance testing knowledge\nCloud platform exposure (Azure preferred)\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies.\nWhy Join Ares\nOpportunity to work on strategic business applications supporting investment and investor operations.\nExposure to the alternative investment and asset management industry.\nCollaborative and innovation-driven culture.\nOpportunity to contribute to enterprise-wide QA automation initiatives and modernization efforts.\nReporting Relationships\nManager, Quality Assurance COEThere is no set deadline to apply for this job opportunity.
