Technology Engineering team and contribute to the development, testing, deployment, and support of technology solutions powering the firm’s global credit investment platform.\nReporting to the VP, Credit Engineering Lead, this role will serve as an early-career hands-on software engineer, working with senior engineers to build applications, APIs, data services, and platform capabilities across the credit investment lifecycle, including deal origination, underwriting, portfolio monitoring, risk management, and investment analytics.\nThe successful candidate will contribute directly to software development while building skills in modern full-stack engineering, cloud-native development, software delivery practices, testing, documentation, and production support.\nThe ideal candidate will bring strong software engineering fundamentals, a desire to learn enterprise application development, and an interest in financial services, investment management, credit, lending, or alternative asset management technology.\nThis individual will collaborate closely with engineers, Product Management, Investment Technology stakeholders, and business partners to deliver maintainable, functions&responsibilities\nHands-On Software Development\n\n Develop software features and enhancements under the guidance of senior engineers.\nContribute to front-end, backend, integration, and data-layer development activities.\nAssist in building and maintainingAPIs, services, and user-facing applications supporting investment workflows.\nWrite clean, maintainable code aligned with established engineering standards.\nParticipatein code reviews and incorporate technical feedback from senior engineers.\nApplication Testing & Support\n\n Participatein unit testing, integration testing, release validation, and deployment support activities.\nAssist with troubleshooting, debugging, and production support under the direction of senior engineers.\nSupport documentation of application functionality, technical changes, operational procedures, and support runbooks.\nHelp maintainapplication reliability, quality, and operational stability.\nPlatform Learning & Technical Development\nDevelop knowledge of the firm’s credit technology ecosystem and investment workflows.\nBuild proficiencyin full-stack engineering practices, APIs, databases, cloud-native development, and DevOps processes.\nLearn modern engineering practices related to source control, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and software delivery.\nStay current on relevant technologies, frameworks, and development patterns.\nCloud, Data & Integration Support\n\n Assist in developing solutions using cloud-native technologies and containerized application patterns.\nSupport integrations across investment platforms, reporting platforms, operational systems, and enterprise data environments.\nContribute to solutions using relational and non-relational database technologies.\nSupport data delivery, reporting, and analytics capabilities in partnership with senior engineers and Data & AI teams.\nSoftware Development Lifecycle\n\n Participatein all phases of the software development lifecycle.\nWork within Agile delivery processes and team ceremonies.\nUse source control, CI/CD pipelines, development tools, and release processes in accordance withteam standards.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on code quality, delivery effectiveness, and operational support.\nTeam Collaboration\n\n Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, business orrelated field isrequired\nExperience Required:\n\n3-5 years of software engineering experience.\nAcademic, internship, co-op, or early professional experience developing software applications preferred.\nExperience participatingin software projects through coursework, internships, co-ops, or professional roles.\nExperience collaborating with engineers, product managers, business analysts, or project teams preferred.\nExposure to enterprise application development, production support, or Agile delivery environments preferred.\nFinancial services experience is not required; interest in financial services, investment management, credit, or lending technology is preferred.\nDemonstratedability to learn quickly, solve problems, incorporate feedback, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.\nGeneral Requirements:\nTechnical Skills\nKnowledge of Java or similar object-oriented programming languages.\nKnowledge of React, TypeScript, or modern front-end development frameworks preferred.\nBasic understanding of relational and non-relational database concepts.\nBasic understanding of APIs, web services, and application integration concepts.\nFamiliarity with Git, source control, automated testing, and CI/CD concepts.\nFamiliarity with cloud computing concepts, Kubernetes, containers, or DevOps tools preferred.\nStrong anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.\n$160,000 - $180,000\nThe firm also offers robust Benefits offerings.
