This role is responsible for designing, building, automating, and supporting modern cloud-based infrastructure and applications that power critical business services.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, CI/CD practices, and platform operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence while driving automation-first solutions across the technology stack.\nCandidates should possess strong development experience, hands-on cloud expertise, and a passion for building resilient, highly automated environments.\nReporting Relationships\nReports To:\nCrew Lead, Cloud / DevOps / Operations\nDirect Reports:\nNone\nPrimary Functions & Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain software solutions, cloud infrastructure, and automation capabilities that support business and technology objectives.\nBuild and manage cloud-native infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and improve deployment reliability.\nSupport enterprise platforms and applications through advanced Level 3 production support and incident resolution.\nImplement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform health and operational stability.\nPartner with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.\nContribute to system architecture discussions and technical decision-making.\nSupport disaster recovery, business continuity, and platform resiliency initiatives.\nContinuously evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to improve engineering capabilities.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience.\n2+ years of experience working within a large-scale enterprise environment.\nExperience designing, developing, and supporting distributed applications and services.\nExperience working within Agile and DevOps-focused delivery organizations.\nDemonstrated experience across the software development lifecycle, from design through production support.\nFull-stack development experience is preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nProficiency in two or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar.\nHands-on experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.\nExperience with source control platforms including GitHub and/or GitLab.\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tooling.\nExperience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.\nExperience using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools.\nFamiliarity with Linux and Windows operating environments.\nExperience working with Jira or other Agile project management and issue-tracking platforms.\nProfessional Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.\nDemonstrated ownership mentality with a focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.\nStrong commitment to operational excellence and customer service.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAzure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or equivalent).\nExperience with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.\nExperience supporting highly available, mission-critical production systems.\nExperience with automated testing frameworks and DevSecOps practices.\nFinancial services industry experience is a plus.\nReporting Relationships\nCompensation\nThe anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.\n$160,000 - $180,000\nThe firm also offers robust Benefits offerings.
