Duties & Responsibilities End-to-End Mechanical Design: Design mechanical equipment, components, and custom sub-assemblies. Translate concept hand sketches into fully detailed 3D models, assemblies, fabrication drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOMs). Site Survey & Reverse Engineering: Travel to sites to measure existing civil structures, plant layouts, and mechanical equipment to design accurate replacement spare parts. Procurement & Vendor Interaction: Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) for parts and outsourced components, and evaluate incoming vendor quotes.
