This role will provide hands-on engineering and operational support across AWS, Microsoft Azure, cloud-hosted developer workspaces, enterprise applications, databases, and DevSecOps initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong cloud infrastructure expertise with application administration, automation, troubleshooting, and security experience and is comfortable supporting mission-critical systems in a fast-paced federal environment.\nDue to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.\nResponsibilities\nAdminister, maintain, and optimize AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.\nManage cloud-based development and end-user computing environments, including Amazon WorkSpaces and Microsoft Windows 365 Cloud PCs.\nProvision and manage users, access controls, security policies, permissions, and cloud resources.\nSupport cloud migrations, platform modernization initiatives, and ongoing cloud optimization efforts.\nMonitor the availability, performance, security, and reliability of cloud services and infrastructure.\nSupport the deployment, integration, administration, and maintenance of enterprise applications.\nAdminister Atlassian Jira and Confluence environments, including workflows, permissions, dashboards, and project spaces.\nIntegrate cloud services and enterprise applications with Microsoft 365 and third-party platforms.\nTroubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and cloud-related issues across multiple environments.\nAdminister Microsoft SQL Server environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance.\nMonitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization improvements.\nDesign and maintain database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.\nImplement database security, access, and compliance controls.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using technologies such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.\nSupport CI/CD pipelines and automated application and infrastructure deployment processes.\nImplement DevSecOps practices throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.\nDevelop scripts and automation to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and reliability.\nSupport vulnerability remediation, cybersecurity assessments, and compliance activities.\nParticipate in incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem resolution activities.\nMaintain system documentation, architecture artifacts, technical procedures, and operational documentation.\nCollaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and customers to support secure and reliable enterprise cloud environments.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\nFive (5) or more years of experience supporting cloud infrastructure and enterprise applications.\nDemonstrated experience administering AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.\nExperience administering Microsoft SQL Server.\nExperience managing Amazon WorkSpaces and/or Microsoft Windows 365 Cloud PCs.\nExperience implementing or supporting Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.\nExperience administering Atlassian Jira and Confluence.\nWorking knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies and practices.\nExperience troubleshooting complex cloud, application, infrastructure, and integration issues.\nUnderstanding of cloud security, access management, vulnerability remediation, and operational security practices.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.\nAbility to obtain and maintain any federal background investigation, suitability, or access requirements associated with the position.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting federal government or federal contractor environments.\nExperience with Docker and containerized workloads.\nExperience with Kubernetes.\nExperience with cloud security and compliance frameworks.\nExperience integrating Microsoft 365 services with cloud applications and platforms.\nScripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.\nAWS Certified SysOps Administrator certification.\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification.\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.\nHashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification.\nCompTIA Security+ certification.\nCISSP certification.\nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.\nAtlassian Jira Administrator certification.\nTravel Requirements\nTravel may be required based on client and project needs.
