As a Frontend Developer you will be responsible for providing expert technical support, maintenance, and enhancement of a client application while ensuring accessibility, reliability, and optimal performance in an Agile, sprint-based development environment. The ideal candidate brings strong front-end development expertise in modern web technologies, JavaScript frameworks, responsive design, Section 508 compliance, and RESTful APIs, while leveraging AWS, Git/GitHub, and open-source solutions to deliver scalable, user-focused applications.\nDue to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.\nResponsibilities\nProvide expert technical support to maintain the client application\nProvide support for development, enhancements, accessibility, integration, optimization, and maintenance\nEnsure availability and correct operations\nWork within a sprint-based development cycle\nUtilize knowledge of the AWS cloud environment, Python backend and TypeScript front-end\nRequirements\n3 years of frontend development experience\nBachelor’s Degree (3 years of additional experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree)\nExperience using modern techniques and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Design) \nExperience with JavaScript development using modern standards as well as applicable tools, frameworks and libraries (e.g., React)\nUnderstanding of Section 508 compliance and WCAG standards\nExperience with accessibility testing tools (automated and manual)\nCapable of consuming RESTful APIs\nExperience using agile methodologies\nExperience with version control systems\nExperience creating web layouts from static images and views and templates in full-stack frameworks\nTravel Requirements\nThis is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions.
