We believe in investing in our people and creating a culture where collaboration, inclusion, and professional growth are at the forefront.\nJob Summary\nAretum is seeking a Procurement Specialist will support federal acquisition and contract management activities through requirements development, documentation, coordination, and tracking. The role works with internal stakeholders to support procurement processes, monitor actions, maintain accurate data, and provide clear reporting throughout the acquisition lifecycle.\nDue to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.\nResponsibilities\nSupport CISA IT acquisition activities by developing and maintaining pre-award requirements, work packages, Statements of Work, acquisition strategies, and supporting documentation.\nCoordinate requirements through internal review and approval processes, including procurement requests, financial workflows, and leadership reviews.\nMaintain acquisition planning tools, contract data, tracking logs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), incorporating stakeholder feedback and identifying opportunities for process improvement.\nProvide post-award support to Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), including maintaining procurement request packages, modification documentation, cost and schedule information, and contract tracking systems.\nPrepare clear, professional reports, guidance materials, and status updates for stakeholders and leadership.\nSupport contractor personnel suitability tracking and other operational reporting requirements.\nRequirements\nBS/BA degree and 3 - 5 years of supporting federal acquisition, contract management, procurement, program management, or a related discipline, preferably within an Information Technology environment.\nExperience developing and managing acquisition requirements, Statements of Work, work packages, procurement documentation, and related pre- and post-award materials.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data tracking, and reporting; experience with Power BI is a plus.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear documentation, guidance, status reports, and executive-level materials.\nAbility to manage multiple acquisition actions simultaneously, maintain accurate tracking data, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced federal environment.\nTravel Requirements\nThis is a hybrid position, with work performed both remotely and at designated client or corporate locations, as needed.
