Success requires strong leadership, deep project management expertise, and effective cross-functional collaboration.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nLead project coordination across the full project lifecycle, ensuring effective planning, execution, monitoring, transition, and closeout in alignment with PMO standards and delivery expectations. \nOversee project plans, schedules, budgets, resource assignments, and dependencies, monitoring project health and driving timely corrective action when delivery deviates from plan. \nFacilitate cross-functional coordination and stakeholder communication across project teams, Practice Leads, PMO leadership, and other internal stakeholders to maintain alignment on priorities, commitments, risks, and dependencies. \nIdentify, track, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints, ensuring appropriate mitigation, ownership, and resolution, particularly for high-risk or challenged engagements. \nDrive consistent adoption of PMO governance, methodologies, standards, and delivery processes, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, quality, predictability, and overall project execution. \nSupport adoption of AI within PMO and provide subject matter expertise to build upon future initiatives and process improvements. \nLead, coach, and develop the Project Coordination team, providing mentoring, training, career development, regular feedback, and clear expectations while maintaining accountability for team effectiveness. \nOwn team staffing, capacity planning, workload balancing, and readiness, partnering with Practice Leads and PMO leadership to align resources with current and anticipated project demand. \nManage employee development and performance processes for direct reports, including competency assessments, development plans, annual reviews, and compensation input. \nServe as an escalation point for project, resource, process, and internal team concerns, facilitating resolution and engaging PMO leadership when additional intervention is required. \nLead team operating rhythms, including team meetings, resource and capacity reviews, calibration discussions, and operational reviews focused on delivery health, priorities, and organizational readiness. \nSupport PMO talent management, including hiring, onboarding, training, development, and offboarding, while helping ensure appropriate Project Coordinator and Project Manager coverage for client engagements. \nPartner with PMO leadership on strategic and operational initiatives, including project governance, contract/SOW reviews, delivery readiness, process improvement, organizational planning, and team health. \nConduct project closeout and lessons-learned activities, translating findings into improvements to PMO processes, standards, tools, and delivery practices. \nProvide hands-on Project Coordinator or Project Manager leadership when required, supporting critical engagements or addressing capacity and coverage needs. \nDecision Making Authority\nPerformance ratings and development plans for direct reports\nPrioritization and assignment of Project Coordinator activities\nPMO operational processes and working procedures within established governance standards\nEscalation of project setup, compliance, or governance issues\nTraining, onboarding, and development activities for the team\nInfluences Decisions For\nPromotion and compensation outcomes\nHiring, onboarding, and offboarding across the PMO\nStaffing on client projects, in conjunction with Practice Leads\nChanges to PMO and ADO Delivery Methodology\nKPIs (Key Performance Indicators)\nUtilization -
