We strive to inspire and grow our company, our partnerships, our science, and our people, because when we do, we deliver more for patients.\nThe Reporting & Insights Lead is responsible for defining, governing, and continuously evolving the global FP&A reporting and insights landscape. This role serves as the central point of contact for all FP&A reporting matters globally and ensures that reporting across the organization is standardized, scalable, automated, and insight-driven. Acting as a strategic bridge between FP&A, Digital & Transformation, and Systems teams, the role translates business requirements into sustainable digital solutions and ensures a single source of truth across performance reporting.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Global FP&A Reporting Strategy & Governance\nServe as the central point of contact for all FP&A reporting matters globally.\n\nDefine and continuously evolve the FP&A reporting strategy and overall landscape.\n\nDrive consistency and standardization across quarterly reporting pack, forecast reporting, KPI frameworks, management dashboards and other self-service reports\n\nEstablish governance over reporting templates, data definitions, financial hierarchies, KPI logic\n\nEnsure reporting alignment across regions and functional FP&A teams.\n\nContinuously assess reporting relevance and eliminate low-value or duplicative reporting.\n\nEnsure a “single source of truth” across the FP&A ecosystem.\n\n2. Insights & Analytics Strategy\nDefine and drive the overarching strategy for insights generation across the FP&A community and work closely with other communities to ensure seamless integration in the overall insight strategy.\n\nShift reporting from descriptive to insight-driven performance analysis.\n\nPartner with FP&A teams and through close collaboration with business stakeholders: identify reporting gaps, detect performance blind spots, generate actionable insights\n\nElevate the analytical maturity of the FP&A function.\n\n3. Digital & Transformation Partnership\nAct as a strategic partner to the Digital & Transformation community.\n\nTranslate business reporting requirements into scalable digital solutions.\n\nProactively collaborate with Digital Technology teams, Systems teams, Data & Analytics teams\n\nDrive automation and reduce manual reporting dependencies.\n\nEnsure reporting infrastructure is sustainable and future-ready.\n\n4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting Projects\nServe as the central intake and coordination point for all reporting requirements and initiatives within FP&A.\n\nFacilitate strong cross-functional collaboration across FP&A sub-teams (R&D, Commercial, Global, Regions, Systems teams, PMO, Digital Transformation, Business stakeholders\n\nEnsure reporting initiatives follow clear governance and prioritization.\n\nBalance ad-hoc reporting needs with long-term architectural integrity.\n\n5. Reporting Landscape Optimization\nDrive harmonization of finance & finance-related data definitions and reporting logic across teams and close collaboration with data & analytics teams on alignment of non-finance related data points consumed in reporting\n\nReduce duplication, parallel reporting, and inconsistent KPI calculations.\n\nImprove scalability and automation across reporting tools.\n\nSupport implementation of dashboards and BI solutions.\n\nEnsure data integrity and reliability in executive reporting.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nDeep understanding of customer needs reflected in reporting, planning & decision support focused on impactful reporting\n\nStandardized, scalable global reporting framework.\n\nReduced manual reporting effort and duplication.\n\nClear and harmonized KPI definitions across regions.\n\nStrong integration between FP&A and Digital/Systems.\n\nReporting that drives decision-making rather than just describes performance.\n\nClear governance over all reporting initiatives.\n\nEssential Experience\n5+ years in FP&A, reporting, or analytics, ideally in biotech/pharma where decision-making relies on complex scientific, commercial, and operational data.\n\nDemonstrated ability to design and govern enterprise reporting landscapes and KPI frameworks.\n\nStrong experience with BI tools and reporting automation in fast-changing environments.\n\nTechnical Strengths\nDeep understanding of data definitions, hierarchies, and cross-functional harmonization, including finance & non-finance datasets typical in biotech (e.g., vial-level data, forecast drivers, R&D program structures).\n\nAbility to shift reporting from descriptive to insight-driven, enabling value-add decisions across teams.\n\nCapable of translating business needs into scalable digital solutions in close partnership with Systems/DT.\n\nLeadership & Culture\nNatural coordinator across FP&A communities (R&D, Commercial, Regions) and business partners.\n\nStructured communicator capable of reducing noise, eliminating duplication, and raising analytical maturity.\n\nLives the argenx way: collaborative, humble, disciplined, high-ownership, and committed to continuous improvement.\n\n\nThe annual base salary hiring range for this position is €100,000.00 - €137,500.00 EUR\n\nThis job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentives program.\nThe hiring range displayed above is the range of possible base pay compensation that argenx believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting.
