The ideal candidate has a strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms design specifically for Software Defined Radio (SDR).\nDUTIES\nAs a DSP Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and validation of advanced digital signal processing algorithms for SDR, communication systems and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).\nThe activities will include (but are not limited to):\nAnalyze system requirements providing architectural design and specifications;\nDesign and optimization of DSP algorithms in MATLAB;\nImplementation of DSP algorithms in C/C++ for SDR kits (USRP, GNU Radio, etc.);\nDefine and execute tests activity, including drafting of test plan/procedures;\nValidate DSP solutions and their performance in laboratory environment;\nManage technical documents (Design Description, Interface Control Document, Verification Control Document, Test Plan and Procedures, etc.).\nGENERAL REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications or related fields) or other STEM disciplines.\nAt least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.\nExcellent written and oral communication in English.\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS\nProficiency with Digital Signal Processing algorithms implementation;\nExperience with Matlab, C/C++;\nExperience with SDR architecture and physical layer processing (e.g. FFT, filtering, modulation, etc);\nExperience with laboratory instruments including signal generator, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscopes;\nExcellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and creativity to tackle technical challenges.\nADDITIONAL ASSETS\nFamiliarity with code revision management tools such as Git/Bitbucket;\nKnowledge of embedded systems;\nKnowledge of MATLAB fixed-point design tools;\nFamiliarity with spreading codes and multiplexing techniques;\nFamiliarity with beamforming (both digital and analog);\nExperience working with cross-functional teams.\nWHY JOIN ARGOTEC?\nOpportunity to work with highly motivated colleagues in a very innovative environment.\nProfessional training and career development opportunities.\nFlexible working time schedule and a hybrid work policy.\nMonthly \"Free-Day\" - every second Friday: time off to dedicate to your family and/or hobbies.\nA diversified community that organizes extra-work and fun activities.\nSALARY RANGE:\n30.000 - 40.000 EUR\nArgotec reserves the right to assess the appropriate job level and compensation package based on objective criteria emerging throughout the selection process.
