Besides the US team, you will also have the support of an experienced multi-functional team from Argotec’s headquarters in Italy.\nSpecific duties include (but are not limited to):\nSpacecraft Assembly, Integration & Testing (AI&T) operations.\nPerforming research to support engineering development.\nBuilding and testing prototypes and Flight Articles.\nInspecting products for compliance with specifications.\nEnsuring safety and cleanliness at work sites.\nProviding customer support when required.\nReporting to supervising engineers.\nSupporting proposal development and documentation.\nGENERAL REQUIREMENTS\nAssociates Degree in Science, Engineering or other related STEM discipline or Technical Certification.\nAt least 2 years of professional experience in the role (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education).\nExcellent written and oral communication in English.\nUS Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS\nTeam player and a “Do what it takes” attitude.\nAbility to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and manuals.\nExperience working with standard laboratory test equipment, other measurement instruments, hand tools, and power tools.\nGreat problem-solving skills.\nPREFERRED SKILLS\nBackground in the Aerospace and Defense Industry will be considered as a plus.\nExperience with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies, including manual and automated testing.\nAbility to prepare complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports to demonstrate compliance with system requirements.\nExperience performing certification testing for agencies such as FAA, NASA, or DoD.\nFamiliarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and experience in managing product non-conformances.\nMust possess multi-tasking skills and excellent organizational abilities.\nIMPORTANT NOTICE\nTo conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.\nARGOTEC OFFERS\nAnnual incentive pay is based upon performance and commensurate with the level of the position.\nGenerous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 100% match up to 8%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.\nAs an Equal Opportunity Employer, this announcement is aimed at both sexes, under laws 903/77 and 125/91, and to people of all ages and all nationalities, under legislative decrees 215/03 and 216/03.
