The objective is to guarantee a safe and complete service as required by flight operations activities, ensuring that the ground segment and network remain fully functional as required.\n\nDUTIES\nUnder the hierarchical authority of the Head of the Flight Operations Unit, as a Flight Dynamics and Mission Analysis Lead, you will be responsible for the functional coordination of the Flight Dynamics and Mission Analysis engineers’ pool, overseeing the preparation, execution, and monitoring of all activities related to Flight Dynamics and Mission Analysis. This includes the tailoring, deployment and evolution of the Flight Dynamics System within Argotec.\nAs a Flight Dynamics and Mission Analysis Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the Flight Operations Team, ensuring the effective implementation, operational usage, and maintenance of Flight Dynamics solutions throughout the mission lifecycle. You will also contribute to the development of tools and scripts to enhance satellite operations and to support the integration of Flight Dynamics and Mission Analysis activities with Mission Control Software.\nThe activities will include (but are not limited to):\nDefine and maintain flight dynamics operational concepts, constraints, procedures, and validation logic to ensure safe and repeatable execution across the fleet;\nCoordinate, plan, and oversee the preparation, execution, and monitoring of all Flight Dynamics and Mission Analysis activities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, procedures, and mission requirements;\nAct as the primary technical coordination interface for Flight Dynamics and Mission Analysis within the Flight Operations context, supporting routine, special, and critical operations, including on-console activities when required;\nEnsure effective alignment between Flight Dynamics, Mission Analysis, Flight Operations and Project Management, translating mission objectives into coherent technical activities and priorities;\nOversee the implementation, operational use, maintenance, and evolution of Flight Dynamics software and tools, including technical issue management and escalation;\nCoordinate and supervise Mission Analysis, Navigation, and GNC analytical activities during the operations phase, contributing to design-phase activities under the lead of GNC/System Engineering;\nProvide technical leadership and guidance to the Flight Dynamics and Mission Analysis team, representing the function toward customers and external stakeholders;\nSupport spacecraft and mission definition phases by providing FD/MA expertise, including orbital concepts, constraints, and preliminary analyses, in close cooperation with the Systems Engineering team;\nEnsure that design-phase FD/MA outputs are consistent with, and smoothly transitioned into, validated and executable products for LEOP, commissioning, and routine operations.\nGENERAL REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mechanic Engineering, or a related technical field;\nAt least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the aerospace sector;\nPrevious experience in functionally leading a group of engineers in deploying a flight dynamics-related project;\nHigh flexibility, teamwork capability, and strong communication skills;\nHands-on and proactive approach, with ability to work with tight schedules;\nAvailability for shift work and on-call availability when required is mandatory;\nAbility to coordinate multidisciplinary and international teams;\nExcellent written and oral communication in English.\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS\nSolid understanding of Flight Dynamics principles, including orbit determination, trajectory analysis and orbit maneuvering;\nStrong programming skills, with proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++;\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyse complex data sets;\nStrong communication and interpersonal capabilities to interact effectively with cross-functional teams;\nStrong system-level thinking, results-oriented mindset, and solid planning/prioritisation capabilities;\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nADDITIONAL ASSETS\nKnowledge of MONTE, GODOT, and Orekit environments;\nKnowledge of Ground Segment utilization;\nKnowledge of Mission Control Software and its integration with Flight Dynamics systems;\nFamiliarity with scripting and automation tools supporting satellite system operations.\nWHY JOIN ARGOTEC?\nOpportunity to work with highly motivated colleagues in a very innovative environment.\nProfessional training and career development opportunities.\nFlexible working time schedule and a hybrid work policy.\nMonthly \"Free-Day\" - every second Friday: time off to dedicate to your family and/or hobbies.\nA diversified community that organizes extra-work and fun activities.\nSALARY RANGE:\n40.000 - 55.000 EUR\nArgotec reserves the right to assess the appropriate job level and compensation package based on objective criteria emerging throughout the selection process.
