maintenance and continuous improvement of our Linux-based systems and network infrastructure.\nDUTIES\nAs a Junior Systems and Network Administrator, you will contribute to the deployment, administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's Linux systems and network infrastructure, both in the datacenter and across the campus network.\nThe activities will include (but are not limited to):\nDeploy, administer and maintain Linux-based systems (physical and virtual);\nSupport the management and operation of datacenter and campus network infrastructure;\nPerform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance activities;\nMaintain and improve server and application configurations through automation tools and scripting;\nSupport the deployment and operation of virtualization platforms;\nMonitor systems and infrastructure health, troubleshooting issues and escalating when necessary;\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures;\nCollaborate with other ICT team members in Business-As-Usual (BAU) and project activities;\nContribute to the continuous improvement of IT services, reliability, and operational efficiency.\nGENERAL REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical fields;\nAlternatively, a High School Diploma combined with at least three years of experience in a similar IT role;\nExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;\nStrong willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic technology environment;\nExcellent written and oral communication in English.\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS\nKnowledge of Linux operating systems (physical and/or virtual environments), preferably Ubuntu Server;\nBasic system administration and troubleshooting skills;\nKnowledge of Bash and Python scripting;\nBasic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and switching concepts;\nFamiliarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Proxmox VE;\nAnalytical mindset and problem-solving attitude;\nContinuous learning attitude and commitment to professional growth;\nAbility to manage priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.\nADDITIONAL ASSETS\nExperience or familiarity with one or more of the following technologies will be considered a plus:\nAnsible;\nRundeck;\nDocker;\nNetBox;\nMySQL and/or PostgreSQL;\nMicrosoft ecosystem technologies including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Windows Server;\nInfrastructure monitoring platforms and monitoring best practices;\nVeeam Backup & Replication;\nInfrastructure automation and configuration management concepts;\nSSL/TLS certificate
