The role focuses on hands-on mechanical integration and verification activities, with the opportunity to be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design support to launch campaign.\nDUTIES\nAs a Mechanical AIT Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful assembly, integration and testing of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize product reliability and performance.\nThe activities will include (but are not limited to):\nDesigning Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) activities;\nDefine, prepare, and execute mechanical integration sequences for satellite systems and subsystems, including structural assembly and thermal hardware installation (directly in Clean Room);\nSupporting harness design and feasibility assessment;\nDevelop and maintain Mechanical Assembly and Integration Procedures (MAIP) and test plans for structural, thermal and environmental testing (Vibration, Shock, TVAC, etc.);\nWriting integration and test procedures;\nExecute and support Environmental Test campaigns;\nPreparing and supporting launch campaigns;\nCollaborate with Structural and Thermal Design Engineers to optimize integration and testing strategies and provide feedback;\nSupporting the design and AIT Plan development for New Product Introduction (NPI).\nGENERAL REQUIREMENTS\nHigh School Diploma or Technical Bachelor’s degree;\nAt least 1 years of experience in similar roles within the aerospace industry;\nHands-on, proactive and results-driven approach;\nExperience with 3D modeling software;\nProficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);\nHigh flexibility and ability to work in a dynamic environment;\nAbility to work under tight schedules and meet deadlines;\nExcellent written and oral communication in English.\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS\nFamiliarity with product lifecycle development and industrial activities, including reviews;\nProficiency in SolidWorks 3D;\nUnderstanding of satellite mechanical architecture, structures and mechanisms;\nFamiliarity with environmental test campaigns (vibration, shock, thermal, TVAC) and related mechanical preparation;\nStrong technical report writing skills;\nGood manual skills in mechanical and electrical assemblies;\nFamiliarity with 3D printing processes;\nHands-on experience with laboratory tools and equipment for manual integration and testing of space hardware.\nExcellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking and creativity to tackle technical challenges.\nADDITIONAL ASSETS\nPrior experience in assembly and test activities will be considered as a plus;\nGood knowledge of SAP B1;\nFamiliarity with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards;\nStrong decision-making skills and a result-driven approach;\nCuriosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.\nWHY JOIN ARGOTEC?\nOpportunity to work with highly motivated colleagues in a very innovative environment.\nProfessional training and career development opportunities.\nFlexible working time schedule and a hybrid work policy.\nMonthly \"Free-Day\" - every second Friday: time off to dedicate to your family and/or hobbies.\nA diversified community that organizes extra-work and fun activities.\nSALARY RANGE:\n28.000 - 37.000 EUR\nArgotec reserves the right to assess the appropriate job level and compensation package based on objective criteria emerging throughout the selection process.
