The APM initiates, plans, develops, executes, and manages project timelines, conducts problem assessments, ensures efficient project implementation, and reports on project performance in conjunction with project sponsors. Expertise in the use of project management tools, facilitation, group processes and critical thinking is essential. The APM works to ensure maximum effectiveness of resources, quality, change, integration, cost, and scope management using effective communications techniques. As a member of the Design and Construction team, the APM works across the organization through workgroups and cross-functional teams. The APM identifies opportunities for efficiency, effectiveness and process innovation while analyzing relevant project daa and implementing process improvements.\nResponsibilities\nProvides support and consultation to executives, directors, managers, supervisors, and peers for strategic initiatives as assigned.\nAssists leadership with strategy and project initiation, planning and execution.\nCollaborates with leaders and teams on process improvement strategies and project management methodologies.\nSuccessfully manages change on an organizational level through stakeholder engagement.\nDemonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nConducts qualitative and quantitative analysis.\nApplies project management processes and methodologies with a proven track record of project management success.\nPartners effectively with leaders and staff at all levels.\nProvides consultation to leadership and peers in effective project management.\nFacilitates work meetings.\nLeads through influence and collaboration.\nAddresses and manages conflict among teams or stakeholders to resolution.\nDemonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nMaintains attention to detail and follow-through.\nTracks and manages multiple, complex projects and priorities.\nDemonstrates competencies in project management including:\nProject chartering\nProject planning with detailed work breakdown structures and Gantt charts\nQuality assurance planning\nRisk identification and mitigation\nResource management\nBudget tracking\nChange control\nUnderstands the big picture and translates it into specific actions, tasks, and measures to achieve desired outcomes.\nDevelops data tracking tools, collates and analyzes data, interprets results, and creates graphical representations of findings.\nWorks confidently with senior leaders and managers in a consulting role through strategy development and deployment planning.\nUtilizes knowledge of Lean tools and critical thinking principles.\nDemonstrates flexibility and creative problem-solving.\nListens to and understands the needs of others.\nMaintains a commitment to service excellence.\nUtilizes Outlook, MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, and SharePoint proficiently.\nMay utilize other project management software as needed.\nPerforms other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required or assigned.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Healthcare, Technology, Business, Education, Project Management, or related field, or an equivalent level of professional experience required.\nExperience\nTwo (2) to four (4) years of Project Management, Facilities Management, and/or Construction Management experience.\nProven track record of successfully leading teams and implementing change initiatives required.\nExperience with project management tools, techniques, and methodologies required.\nExperience managing teams from cross-functional departments and disciplines required.\nExperience leading complex and concurrent projects with various size teams preferred.\nExperience in a healthcare setting preferred.\nRequired Skills, Knowledge & Abilities\nProven ability to lead teams and implement organizational change initiatives.\nKnowledge and application of project management tools, techniques, and methodologies.\nAbility to manage cross-functional teams and multidisciplinary projects.\nAbility to lead complex and concurrent projects successfully.\nStrong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.\nKnowledge of facilities management and construction management principles preferred.\nAbility to manage priorities, timelines, budgets, and project deliverables
