Brussels.\nRole & responsibilities\nAnalyse business context, strategic objectives, and stakeholder needs to ensure solutions align with organisational goals.\nGather, elicit, validate, and document business requirements using structured business analysis techniques.\nAssess and model current business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement.\nDesign and maintain business process models and workflows using recognised modelling standards such as BPMN and UML.\nTranslate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories to support solution design and development teams.\nDefine acceptance criteria and support testing activities, including test scenario creation, defect analysis, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).\nFacilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders, technical teams, testers, and project management teams.\nAnalyse legislative and regulatory workflows and convert requirements into actionable user stories and business rules.\nSupport cross-organisational and interinstitutional requirements gathering activities involving multiple stakeholders.\nEnsure end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle, including change request management.\nContribute to process standardisation initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts.\nAssist in data analysis, validation, and reporting activities to support business decision-making.\n Your profile\nBachelor's degree (EQF Level 6) in Business Administration, Public to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.\nStrong facilitation and workshop moderation capabilities.\nExcellent documentation and presentation skills.\nAbility to manage of experience with business process modelling using BPMN, UML, or equivalent methodologies.\nMinimum 2 years of experience with requirements management and backlog management tools such as Jira, GitLab, or similar.\nMinimum 2 years of experience using collaboration platforms such as Confluence.\nMinimum 2 years of experience working within Agile, Scrum, and software development environments.\nMinimum 2 years of experience applying business analysis methodologies, including:User Stories\nUse Cases\nProcess Analysis\nFunctional Specifications\nAcceptance Criteria Definition\n\nMinimum 1 year of experience with diagramming and wireframing tools such as:Microsoft Visio\nLucidchart\nBalsamiq\nFigma\n\nMinimum 1 year of experience in legislative, legal, regulatory, or public sector environments.\nExperience managing requirements traceability throughout the software delivery lifecycle.\nAny of the following would be considered an asset\nExperience with SQL for data analysis, validation, and reporting.\nExperience with legislative drafting processes and document lifecycle management.\nExperience in document standardisation and transformation initiatives.\nKnowledge of structured document formats such as XML and Akoma Ntoso.\nExperience defining business rules and specifications for converting legacy document formats (e.g., Microsoft Word) into structured document standards.\nFamiliarity with interinstitutional workflows and governance processes.\nExperience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.\nCertifications\nThe
