This is a key opportunity for someone with industry and technology expertise in the networking/automation sector. If you are passionate about working on next generation cloud networking solutions and being a part of the fastest growing network company in the industry, then come join Arista!\nWhat You'll Do\nCreate and evangelize field facing product marketing collateral across CloudVision technologies, including white papers, slide decks, websites, demos, videos, etc.\nSubject matter expertise on deeply technical topics related to product development, deployment, and ongoing product user-experience. \nCollaborate on product definition through customer requirement gathering and roadmap planning\nProduct support for sales teams and customers to ensure success with major opportunities and deployments\nHands-on projects to develop labs as well as demonstrate key technologies\nLeverage expertise to train Arista sales force and Arista customers through clear and accurate product collateral\nExecute ongoing aspects of the product lifecycle, including interaction with a cross-functional set of teams\nKeep up-to-date on competitive solutions, products, and services\nRegular analysis of the industry landscape and positioning relative to Arista’s differentiation\nRepresent Arista at external events, including conferences, tradeshows, partner engagements, etc.\n At least Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Bachelor degree required\n10-12 years of experience in the networking industry\nStrong preference for at least 5 years as a product manager or technical marketing engineer. Prior experience could also include software engineering, systems engineering, or similar roles.\nIndustry / technology expertise is required in the following areas: network management and operations, data center trends and technologies, network orchestration and automation systems, network platform offerings and solutions from industry vendors. Routing, switching, VxLAN/MPLS/network virtualization knowledge is preferred but not required.\nExpert technical knowledge is required in several of the following areas: Network management platforms for enterprise users, UI/UX user experience workflows, automation techniques, DevOps platforms (Ansible, etc), APIs (JSON, gRPC etc.), scripting (Python, etc.). General knowledge is preferred in the following areas: Ethernet, VLANs, IP routing, TCP/IP, Multicast, Protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, PIM, IGMP; etc.). \nExpert knowledge on or more of the following enterprise use-cases is required: Data Center, Cloud, Campus/Branch.\nKnowledge of SaaS application offerings, including public cloud platforms and associated networking environments, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform is preferred.\nNetwork design level expertise in the following use-cases: private and public cloud data centers, service provider data center, Internet routing, IP storage, financial networks, high-performance computing (HPC), enterprise networks\nAbility to write extensive technical content (white papers, technical briefs, test reports, etc.) for external audiences with a balance of technical accuracy, strategy, and clear messaging\nAbility to build extensive technical slide decks in PowerPoint, with technical accuracy, strategy, and clear messaging\nAbility to comfortably present in front of internal and external audiences (large and small)\nIn some cases, exposure to product financials including licensing and modelling can be valuable\nCompensation Information\nThe new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of $142,000 to $193,000.\nArista offers different pay ranges based on work location, so that we can offer consistent and competitive pay appropriate to the market. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location.\nThe pay range provided reflects base pay only and in addition certain roles may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses and equity. Employees in Sales roles are eligible to participate in Arista’s Sales Incentive Plan, which pays commissions calculated as a percentage of eligible sales. US-based employees are also entitled to benefits including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings and income protection.
