This role plays a key part in crafting the future of our social casino games, providing an outstanding opportunity to innovate and influence player experiences worldwide.\nWhat You'll Do\nParticipate in end-to-end feature development, growing social and gameplay systems.\nOwn features from concept through release and monitoring.\nImplement frontend functionality in JavaScript across iOS, Android, and Web.\nCompose and build backend services and APIs in PHP to power new gameplay, social, and LiveOps features.\nDevelop scalable RESTful APIs consumed by client applications.\nContribute to data modeling and persistence for player progression, rewards, and events.\nImprove backend efficiency to handle high concurrency and sizable player populations.\nEnsure features are reliable, testable, and production-ready.\nAssess and optimize frontend and backend performance to provide a fluid player experience.\nPartner with Product to scope technical solutions and make pragmatic tradeoffs.\nMonitor post-launch performance and iterate based on player behavior and metrics.\nTranslate creative concepts into engaging, scalable systems.\nHelp foster an inclusive engineering atmosphere dedicated to education and constant progress.\nProactively find opportunities to improve architecture, tooling, and delivery practices.\nWhat We're Looking For\nB.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.\n4+ years of professional software development experience.\nExperience with JavaScript in production environments.\nExperience building backend services in a live environment.\nExperience crafting and consuming RESTful APIs.\nUnderstanding of client-server architecture.\nExperience contributing to features through the full development lifecycle.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a player-first approach.\nNice-to-Have\nExperience developing backend services in PHP (strongly preferred).\nExperience working within an existing PHP codebase.\nExperience building gameplay systems such as events, rewards, progression, or social mechanics.\nExperience in mobile gaming, social casino, or Games-as-a-Service environments.\nFamiliarity with experimentation, feature flags, or live feature delivery.\nMobile development experience (iOS and/or Android).\nThis job description may have been reviewed and enhanced using AI-assisted tools to improve clarity, consistency, and inclusivity.
