More on the responsibilities and requirements of the role you can find down below:\n\nMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES \n\nHandle the configuration and operation of computer operating systems\n\nDevelop and verify backups of data\n\nUpdate systems as the need arises for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution\n\nAdministrate infrastructure, including firewalls, XDR and antivirus programs\n\nMonitoring of Operating Systems’ performance and availability\n\nFile Server and DNS support and maintenance\n\nWindows systems setup and configuration\n\nLinux systems installation and configuration\n\nSetting up and handling VMware platforms\n\nConfiguring the platform for MS SQL Servers\n\nHandling AWS services\n\nEstablishing and managing Active Directory and Windows-based environments\n\nMaintain up-to-date user documentation\n\nMaintain clear communication with immediate manager, with respect to work undertaken and ensure that performance standards/expectations should not get breached.\n\nRegularly update and consult with direct manager regarding ongoing tasks and projects.\n\nProvide timely progress reports and seek mentorship as needed to ensure efficient workflow.\n\nAttend & chip in to team huddles, meetings & ad hoc meetings when required.\n\nAssist in additional duties and assignments as assigned by supervisors or management to support the achievement of department and interpersonal goals.\n\nParticipating in on-call schedule\n\nII. INFORMATION LINKS AND RELATIONSHIP\n\nIn their everyday work the Senior System Administrator is subordinate to the Managing Director of the Company, according to the approved Company’interpersonal chart.\n\nWork closely with all relevant parties both inside and outside the organization.\n\nIII. REQUIREMENTS\n\nIn-depth experience with Windows and Linux server administration\n\nKnowledge of how to configure and maintain VMware platforms\n\nExperience with infrastructure for MS SQL servers\n\nEn-depth experience with AWS or Azure or GCP\n\nIn-depth understanding of server, network and application security\n\nExperience with configuring and handling directory services and Windows operating system environments\n\nExperience with Firewalls and Networking\n\nProficiency in written and spoken English\n\nTravel Expectations\n\nNone\n\nAdditional Information\n\nAt this time, we are unable to sponsor work visas for this position.
