Does that sound like something that moves you too?\nThis could be your opportunity to begin a challenging and rewarding career in a healthcare company that empowers movement for people with mobility challenges.\nPosition: Mechanical Engineer\nLocation: Suzhou\nJob type: Full Time\nAs the mechanical engineer you will be responsible for:\nDevelopment\nDefine, develop, implement and verify mechanical sub-system requirements.\nIdentify and apply relevant Design-For-X development in PIP &VTE category\nPerform and document product risk analysis and specify risk control measures on mechanics and mechanical system and subsystem level.\nConstruct and evaluate proof-of-concept and prototype builds.\nDesign mechanical and mechanic subsystems, and select parts, material and components.\nDevelop, test and document deliverables using mechanical CAD system and bench testing according to the Arjo development process, quality system and best practice.\nTransfer\nEnsure an efficient and high-quality production implementation and hyper care.\nNew\nParticipate in research and creation of new products according to assigned tasks.\nImprove\nIdentify, evaluate, and develop improvements to the mechanical parts and system of existing products for increased performance, cost, quality, and value.\nMaintain\nSecure production and product continuity by solving production challenges and performing obsolescence and life cycle updates.\nPerform technical analysis of change requests, trouble reports, CAPAs and claims as assigned.\nDesign product improvements and handle obsolescence activities in the mechanical parts and systems as assigned.\nTake responsibility for development, documentation, and quality of mechanics and mechanical functions.\nPlan and work independently on end-to-end realization of specified engineering activities.\nThe skills you will need\nBachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical engineering or related.\n5+ years product development or product maintenance experience, medical device background preferred.\nSkilled in modern mechanical product development and engineering best practice and applicable tools.\nAbility to approach tasks and problems with a structured and outcome-oriented mindset.\nFamiliarity with product development lifecycle, from concept to mass production.\nExperience in supporting mass production and driving cost-down or sustaining engineering projects.\nFamiliarity with PLM systems and engineering change management processes.\nExperience from work on plastic injection issue handling is preferred.\nGood English skills in written and verbal communication.\nAbout Arjo\nAt Arjo, we believe that empowering movement within healthcare environments is essential to quality care.
