In this important role, you will be engaging directly with our customers, managing project timelines and budgets, and working hand in hand with engineering, finance contracts, and production to deliver customer mission success. Ask us about the opportunity for flex scheduling if that’s of interest to you.\nResponsibilities:\nLead and manage complex satellite communications programs from contracts through execution and delivery\nCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, contracts, business development, operations to ensure programs are running within scope and on schedule\nLiaison between the customer and engineering to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and met through project lifecycle\nBuild and maintain a strong program pipeline work with customers to understand their future missions needs and how AKRA can be a part of that vision\nMaintain data integrity which includes project milestones, SalesForce opportunity and business projections\nOversee and manage multiple programs at the same time including budgeting, contracts, scheduling and risk management\nBuilding strong and meaningful relationships with our customers\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience in program/project management working with engineers in aerospace, defense, or similar industry.\nBS from an accredited university\nAbility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance\nAbility to multitask and effectively manage multiple customers and programs\nExceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBS in a technical field in engineering, computer science, industrial technology, or similar field\nExperience in satellite communications, satellite systems, or RF communications\nBasic understanding of satellite communication principles\nExperience managing software programs\nExperience working with US Space Force, NASA, NOAA, or NRO\nProficient use of the Atlassian tool suite\nExperience using SalesForce to track opportunities\nActive TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance\nPay Range: $110,000 - $180,000\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.\nThe application window will close in 40 days for this position.\nLocation:Colorado Springs, CO\nIf you like city life, but also enjoy the great outdoors, Colorado Springs is the place for you.
