We're building a category-defining company in a fast-moving space, and we're looking for a leader who is excited to help shape what world-class partner support looks like in the wellness category.\nAbout the Role\nWe're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build AI products our customers can feel, and to make the team around you faster while you do it.\nYour first big surface is a customer-facing AI product that takes meaningful operational work off a studio owner's plate and helps them grow. Alongside that, you'll help modernize core parts of our architecture, and build the agentic loops, CI, and observability that let a small team ship at a fast pace.\nThis is a product engineering role first. Internal tooling and developer experience are how you multiply the team, not the destination. Our customers are small business owners whose livelihoods depend on what you ship, so the feedback loop is short and the stakes are real.\nAbout the Team\nYou’ll join a small, senior, fully distributed engineering team. We operate with high autonomy and very little process. You can form a hypothesis, ship a small experiment, measure it, and iterate without waiting for permission.\nWe’re an outlier in our industry in how aggressively we use AI tooling, and you’ll help shape how we use it. You’ll work closely with our Staff engineers and engineering leaders, and you’ll support mid and junior engineers through code review and pairing.\nWe have a strong product market fit and are growing a lot. That means you get startup speed without startup precarity.\nWhat You'll Do:\nBuild AI products that let studio operators automate their operations so they can focus on the parts of their business they’re most passionate about\n\nBuild and improve agentic loops that strengthen the product, our codebase, and our ability to deliver for customers\n\nOwn features end to end, from scoping an ambiguous customer problem to shipping and measuring it\n\nContribute to simplifying our infrastructure and operations so both human and agent engineers move faster\n\nStrengthen our production safety nets: detecting, alerting on, and responding to issues\n\nWork across the stack (TypeScript, Node, NestJS, React, Postgres) to ship features and improvements daily\n\nRaise the bar for your teammates through thoughtful code review, pairing, and mentorship\n\nHelp the team adopt the patterns and tools that make everyone faster\n\nWhat success looks like:\nWe believe in setting our team up to thrive.\nFirst 30 days\nShip to production in your first week and keep shipping\n\nBuild working context on our stack, the migrations in flight, and how the team operates\n\nLand a self-contained improvement that makes your own or your team’s workflow faster\n\nFirst 90 days\nYou own a meaningful area of the product or platform and teammates rely on you for it\n\nYou’ve shipped customer-facing AI functionality that real studios are using\n\nFirst 6 months\nYou’re a trusted senior voice on the team, and peers seek out your reviews and input\n\nTooling or safety nets you’ve built are part of how the team ships every day\n\nWhat we're looking for:\n5+ years of software engineering experience in most cases, though we care more about evidence than years\n\nFull-stack contributor. Deep expertise somewhere is great, but everyone here contributes across the stack. If you only want to work in one layer, this isn’t the role\n\nA JavaScript and TypeScript background. You can come from an adjacent ecosystem, but you should be fluent and happy in JS/TS\n\nAI-native. You use AI tooling heavily in your daily work, beyond autocomplete.
