Incomplete applications will not be considered.\nTheDepartment of Technology Services Customer Experience Division is hiring an experienced professional to be part of the IT Asset Management team to serve as a Sr. IT Analyst. In this position you will play a pivotal role in supporting our internal customers by providing hardware and software asset service delivery, placing the customer and County business needs at the heart of our operations, and participating in thoughtful, engaging, and people-centered support. Additionally, this position assists with analyzing information technology needs across the enterprise, recommending solutions to business needs, and practicing continuous improvement for business operations.\n Manages enterprise software licensing programs, including software renewals, vendor coordination, compliance tracking, and license utilization reviews;\nCoordinates hardware and software procurement activities, including planning, ordering, tracking, and delivery of technology assets;\nOversees purchase order processes for individual and large-scale technology acquisitions;\nServes as the primary escalation point for technology asset, software licensing, procurement, and operational support issues;\nAssists with providing operational leadership workload prioritization, issue management, and process improvements;\nServes as a liaison between technical teams, vendors, procurement staff, and customer departments;\nIdentifies and implements opportunities to leverage existing technology solutions and improve operational efficiency; and\nCoordinates and manages technology projects and operational initiatives, working with technical teams, vendors, and business partners to establish timelines, monitor progress, address risks, and achieve project objectives.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience:\nDocumenting business needs and translating them into functional and technical requirements to ensure solutions meet needs;\nServing as project manager for asset deployments, distribution, and retrieval and retirement of varying size or as team lead for a specific, significant component of larger IT projects; and/or\nProviding systems analysis, technical support, and training on systems relevant to assigned work.\n\n Minimums:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, or a related field; and\nConsiderable experience supporting technology operations, asset management, software licensing, procurement, or related business functions. including experience managing and implementing information systems, programming, systems analysis, process re-engineering, project management, and/or web development. \nSubstitution: Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year for year basis.\nDesirables: Preference may be given to candidates with one or more of the following:\nDemonstrated experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and departments;\nExperience working with technology vendors, contracts, and purchasing processes is preferred and/or\nDeveloping requests for proposals (RFPs) and statements of work (SOWs), and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.\nSpecial Requirements\nPlease note: A complete application will include a resume addressing how the applicant’s education, work experience, and training meet the requirements under the selection criteria, highlighting accomplishments in these areas and the desirable qualifications.\nA pre-employment criminal records background check will be conducted.
