The role will be responsible for defining and implementing how we work with our B2B partners, as well as being the primary technical point of contact for partner change management.\nRelease Planning & Communication\nDesigning and implementing a process for change management for partner deliverables, including versioning, communication plans and managing partner change management policies.\nServing as primary point of contact with partners to manage change expectations, communicate upcoming changes and ensure successful transitions.\nCoordinate with product, engineering, and QA teams to create detailed release schedules and communicate them to partners.\nManage the publication of release notes, changelog updates, and technical documentation for new features and updates.\nTechnical Partnership Management\nCollaborate with partners to understand their integration needs and communicate these requirements to internal teams\nCoordinate partner testing activities in sandbox environments before production deployments\nOversee the development and execution of partner readiness programs for major releases\nCollect, document, and prioritize partner feedback about release processes and platform functionality\nRelease Implementation & Support\nCoordinate with system administrators to schedule and communicate maintenance windows\nMonitor system status during and after releases to quickly identify and communicate any issues\nFacilitate post-release reviews with partners to gather feedback and identify improvement opportunities\nSupport the creation and maintenance of partner-facing documentation including API references, integration guides, and troubleshooting resources\nEnvironment & Version Management\nManage visibility of environment statuses (sandbox, production) for partners through the partner portal\nCoordinate firmware rollout schedules and communications for partner-managed devices\nEnsure proper versioning of documentation, sample code, and API references\nWork with engineering teams to implement and maintain the partner portal's system status page\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field\n5+ years of experience in software development, release management, or technical product management\nProven experience managing technical communications with external partners or customers\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle and release processes\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences\nExperience with API management, versioning, and documentation\nProject management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams\nPreferred\nExperience with B2B SaaS platforms and partner integrations\nKnowledge of device management systems and firmware update processes\nFamiliarity with technical documentation systems and tools\nExperience with customer/partner success programs\nBackground in developing or maintaining developer portals or partner programs\nITIL, PMP, Scrum, or other relevant certifications\nKey Competencies\nPartner Advocacy: Acts as the voice of partners within the organization\nTechnical Translation: Ability to communicate complex technical changes in business terms\nProcess Improvement: Continuously identifies ways to improve the release management process\nProblem-Solving: Quickly addresses issues that arise during the release process\nCollaboration: Works effectively with multiple internal teams and external partners\nDetail-Orientation: Ensures accuracy in all communications and documentation\nAdaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities\nThe pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between USD$140,000-160,000/year. However,base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. Thetotal compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits.
