Working closely with peer architects, we analyse novel applications and use-cases to invent new ways of improving systems performance, efficiency, or ease of use. Our work is at the forefront of AI systems, exploring new technologies and contributing to the innovations that will build the future of intelligent computing.\nWhat you could be doing as an Architecture and Technology Intern:\nInvestigate emerging algorithms and disruptive system concepts, build and deploy prototypes, benchmark them on real Arm platforms, and explore the technologies that could shape the next generation of computing.\nIn considering performance along with power efficiency, area and compiler targetability, this is an excellent opportunity to grow strong skills in Computer Architecture.\nWe are looking for individuals who:\nAre currently enrolled and studying towards a degree in engineering and science. Our interns typically pursue degrees in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science. Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience. Candidates will also require:\nGood understanding of Computer Architecture\nBasic knowledge of C language\nMachine learning, AI basics\nFluent written and spoken English\nQualities that will help your application stand out:\nArm architecture fundamentals\nArchitecture performance analysis and optimisation\nProven enthusiasm, drive and diligence\nGood written and verbal communication skill\nAdditional Information:\nWe encourage early applications as we review them on a first come/first served basis.\nArm Internships require you to be enrolled in a higher education degree.\nThe internship duration is 6 months, starting in 2027.\nFrench Law requires students to complete an internship agreement (Convention de Stage). This is a tripartite agreement signed by the student, their home university and host organization, that facilitates an internship in France. It is the contract defining all the essential points of the internship: duration, missions, remuneration and benefits, insurance in the event of an accident, etc.\nIt is preferable that Arm's own template of the agreement is used. Successful applicants will be required to provide contact details of the appropriate university representatives in order to have the agreement signed.\nPlease note we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must have the right to work in the country where the internship is based, without relying on sponsorship by Arm, for the full duration of the internship\nIn Return:\nWorking on interesting new projects with leaders in the field is exciting, but we also know how important it is to receive support. That's why throughout your internship, you can expect regular feedback and development opportunities, social activities to connect with your peers, an end of internship celebration, plus the opportunity to be *considered for future Graduate positions (*subject to performance). #getreadytogrow\nIn addition to a competitive salary of €24,000 to €27,000 per annum (dependent on Bachelors or Masters), our on-the-job learning and mentoring/buddy schemes provide unparalleled learning and networking opportunities from the best in the industry.\n#LI-NB1","description_format":"text","description_chars":3396,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Processors, MCUs & AI Chips","Semiconductor IP & Chip Design Services"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-10T02:25:03Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":89,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.889,"p_room":1,"age_days":12,"expected_fill_days":49,"reasons":["conf:2","velocity","win:early","comp:junior,brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-22T06:10:10Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/arm-holdings-architecture-and-technology-intern","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/arm-holdings-architecture-and-technology-intern.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-22T07:35:09Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":3256,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-23T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":268},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=268"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Farm-holdings-architecture-and-technology-intern"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Farm-holdings-architecture-and-technology-intern"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Farm-holdings-architecture-and-technology-intern"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/arm-holdings-architecture-and-technology-intern\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Farm-holdings-architecture-and-technology-intern"}]}
