Its team develops CPUs powering some of the world’s best-selling smartphones, tablets and gaming systems.\nWhat you could be doing as a CPU Physical Implementation Intern\nImproving Area, Frequency, and Power with a reasonable runtime is one of the most relevant activities we encounter when developing CPUs.\nAs part of this team, interns will be given ownership of an investigation topic directly related to CPU development and allocated a dedicated expert engineer to follow your progress.\nWe are looking for individuals who:\nAre currently enrolled in their last year of Masters (BAC+5 or equivalent), in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant field and available for a 5 to 6-month internship\nShow curiosity for CPU and digital systems, attention to detail and creativity\nUnderstand computer architecture fundamentals, familiarity with digital design concepts and Power/Performance/Area trade-off\nAre able to communicate ideas optimally and good interpersonal and teamwork skills\nQualities that will help your application stand out:\nFamiliarity with Linux and version control systems\nAdditional Information:\nWe encourage early applications as we review them on a first come/first served basis.\nArm Internships require you to be enrolled in a higher education degree.\nThe internship duration is 6 months, starting in 2027.\nFrench Law requires students to complete an internship agreement (Convention de Stage). This is a tripartite agreement signed by the student, their home university and host organization, that facilitates an internship in France. It is the contract defining all the essential points of the internship: duration, missions, remuneration and benefits, insurance in the event of an accident, etc.\nIt is preferable that Arm's own template of the agreement is used.
