We are looking for an Engineer to become part of a tools and process implementation team responsible for implementing ARM’s next generation of SoC’s in the IoT, Automotive, and Compute spaces. This role will help support existing toolsets, customize functions as required and help us prepare for the next generation of SoC development.\nResponsibilities:\nWe are seeking an engineer that will assist in the design and development of tools to support package designs. Candidate will work closely with other team members and will need to adapt quickly in support of urgent requests to loosely defined problems and frequent changes.\nCommunicate and coordinate with multiple teams to help architect/develop automation that facilitates data transfer and checking between these teams\nCommunicate with ECAD vendors regarding new development requirements, problem reports and resolutions.\nSupport Library development by helping develop symbols and CAD library databases using Cadence APD tools\nDevelop methodologies to improve layout efficiency!\nSome Layout development using best-known practices for DFM, DFA, Signal and Power Delivery Networks\nProvide use model support as needed to internal team members across all the tools in our design cycle.\nRequired Skills and Experience :\nAn Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent work experience\nExperience with 2.5D and 3D package systems and facilitating layout process improvements\n15+ years of recent experience in the use of Cadence APD & Allegro toolsets with recent experience using V24, and V25, Siemens HyperLynx, Ansys and Valor\nSubstantial experience with programming languages such as SKILL, TCL, Ravel, Codex, Python, and others\nSignificant experience in the design, development and deployment of Custom Tools in large layout installations.\nDemonstrated history of Product support and internal regression testing and techniques.\n“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :\nExperience with Siemens Expedition, Calibre, Innovus, other tools\nAbility to use SI/PI tools, run early analysis and provide feedback\nStrong verbal, written communication and presentation skills for training and documentation\nSalary Range:\n$249,900-$338,100 per yearWe value people as individuals and our dedication is to reward people competitively and equitably for the work they do and the skills and experience they bring to Arm.
