You will join a team of Software Engineers who share a passion for leaving their mark on the future of computing.\nJob Overview:\nAre you interested in working on pioneering compiler technology as part of our team of dedicated engineers working with the wider LLVM community? We have an opening for an exciting and varied role in our FuSa Toolchain team.\nIn this role, you will contribute to the development of our commercial Functional Safety compiler toolchain and libraries. Previous experience working with LLVM or functional safety projects is desirable but not essential.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop our commercial C/C++ toolchain and libraries used in safety projects.\nExtend our automated test frameworks.\nProduce safety documentation.\nRequired Skills and Experience:\nExcellent C/C++ programming skills with the ability to add significant new functionality, analyse and fix complex defects. Some knowledge of assembly and strong debugging skills are preferred.\nExpertise in application and low-level systems, with a strong understanding of system architecture (preferably Arm) and Operating System fundamentals.\nApplication of software methodologies, tools, and processes, including code review.\nStrong interpersonal skills; excellent written and spoken English.\n“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:\nCompiler development, particularly LLVM.\nLow-level programming in Arm assembly.\nExpertise with git version control system.\nTest development using Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.\nEducated to degree level or have similar proven experience.\nPlease note: If skilled worker sponsorship is required, Arm will meet costs associated with sponsorship for the employer only.
