You will play a vital role in ensuring the power efficiency and performance of our compute solutions.\nWe like to think we are not just crafting sophisticated SoCs, but we are defining future chip design. Not only do we improve the power, performance and system integration of our products, but we also craft the design flows, influence Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and build the knowledge base that makes performant and efficient chip design possible.\nOur work goes beyond multiple divisions where we drive improved implementation for Arm and our partners.\nAccountabilities\nCollaborate with multi-functional teams to define and implement power intent specifications for System-on-Chip (SoC) designs.\nProduce and maintain and validate complex UPF (Unified Power Format) files to describe power domains, power states, retention strategies, and level shifters and isolation. Produce, maintain, merge and validate UPF across different hierarchical domains.\nInvestigate the tradeoffs involved with the Power Domain Network (PDN) and power distribution across the chip with respect to the power intent.\nEnable our partners to achieve the best possible quality of results.\nWhat skills, experience, and qualifications do I need?\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.\nSolid understanding of power intent concepts, including voltage islands, power domains, power states, and power control architectures.\nProficiency in UPF 2.0/2.1/3.0/3.1 (Unified Power Format) and experience in low power formal verification\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nProven track record with power intent definition and verification\nThe ability to demonstrate that you can express new insights and communicate them effectively.\nDesirable Skills & Experience\nFamiliarity with formal verification tools (Conformal LP) for power intent verification.\nStrong scripting skills (eg.
