You'll have the freedom to challenge existing practices, explore new approaches, and help us build an environment where everyone takes ownership of quality and enjoys working together.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead and grow our global Quality Engineering team, supporting team members' development, setting priorities, and building strong relationships across our worldwide Engineering organization.\nWork alongside hardware and software Engineering teams, providing independent, risk-based quality oversight, identifying risks, and supporting decisions throughout development, verification, release, and maintenance.\nHelp teams solve engineering quality problems, facilitating bug reviews, root cause analysis, corrective actions, quality circles, and lessons learned. We want to prevent problems, not just react to them!\nImprove how we measure and manage quality, conducting proactive assessments, analysing defect trends and customer feedback, and turning data into useful insights that help Engineering leaders make decisions.\nBring Engineering communities together, sharing knowledge, improving collaboration, and helping teams adopt effective practices across requirements, design, verification, and product delivery.\nExplore smarter ways of working, using automation, AI, and data analytics to simplify quality activities, reduce manual effort, and help teams focus on what matters.\n Connect the dots across products and engineering teams, identifying common quality risks, recurring problems, and opportunities for systemic improvement, and helping Engineering leaders focus on the actions that will make the biggest difference.\nWhat We're Looking For\nExperience in engineering quality management within semiconductor hardware development (RTL/VLSI, IP, SoC) or complex software development, with a good understanding of semiconductor and software development lifecycles.\nProven experience leading, coaching, and developing Quality Managers or technical engineering teams, ideally across different locations.\nAbility to influence decisions and drive improvements across teams without relying on formal authority, while building trusted relationships with Engineering leaders.\nPractical experience with engineering quality methods, including defect management, root cause analysis, quality assessments, risk management, and continuous improvement.\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to ask difficult questions, challenge ideas constructively, and work with others to find solutions.\nNice to Have\nWe would also welcome experience in semiconductor productization, hardware and software integration, functional safety, cybersecurity, or automotive quality.\nKnowledge of engineering development frameworks, quality management systems, and the use of data analytics, automation, or AI to improve engineering practices would be valuable.\nAdditional Information\nPlease note that a relocation package (including visa sponsorship support) is available for this role, for candidates who require it.\nOur 10x Mindset\nAt Arm, we believe progress happens when people are empowered to think bigger and push beyond what seems possible.
