You will apply and evolve modern simulation-based verification methodologies to address complicated problems, improve verification effectiveness, and push the boundaries of CPU verification.\nResponsibilities:\nWe are seeking a Senior Verification Engineer who can contribute throughout all stages of the CPU verification lifecycle. Responsibilities include:\nTake ownership for verification in a particular area of the CPU, covering everything from unit-level testbench development to the complete verification approach.\nDeliver functional verification to agreed quality standards and project schedules.\nDevelop test plans, verification strategies, and coverage goals.\nWork closely with project leads and management on planning, scheduling, and quality checkpoints.\nUse data-driven analysis to assess verification progress, coverage, and product quality.\nContribute to verification methodology and productivity improvements across the CPU group and wider Arm verification community.\nInvestigate, debug, and drive root-cause analysis of issues identified throughout the verification process.\nRequired Skills and Experience :\nExperience building verification environments for sophisticated RTL designs.\nStrong proficiency in SystemVerilog and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl.\nProven grasp of the complete verification process, starting from test planning and continuing through to verification closure.\nAbility to quickly understand complex specifications and translate them into effective verification scenarios.\nStrong understanding of computer architecture fundamentals, including pipelining, exception handling, and memory systems.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences.\n“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :\nSolid knowledge of Arm architecture.\nExperience with verification methodologies such as UVM or equivalent experience.\nProgramming experience in C/C++ and Python.\nPractical experience verifying microprocessor or CPU designs.\nUnderstanding of constrained-random stimulus, functional coverage, checking methodologies, and behavioural reference models.\nExperience conducting detailed technical reviews of verification or design work.\nInterest in applying AI tools and techniques to improve engineering productivity.\nIn Return:\nArm is a global community of dedicated, creative engineers united by a shared mission: to design technology that enables innovation and shapes the future.\nWe cultivate an inclusive, dynamic, and merit-based culture, where everyone can learn, grow, and make an impact.\nOur hybrid working model supports flexibility.
