This role will focus on data integration, market forecasting, competitive intelligence, statistical analysis, and analytical tools supporting strategic and operational decisions.\nThe Data Scientist will collaborate across Procurement, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and other business functions to transform complex internal and external datasets into actionable insights that improve supply chain visibility, supplier strategy, cost management, and long-term planning.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong quantitative and analytical skills with an understanding of technology markets, business strategy, and the ability to communicate complex findings to executive stakeholders.\nResponsibilities:\nMarket Intelligence & Forecasting\nDevelop analytical frameworks to evaluate semiconductor markets, technology trends, supplier dynamics, and industry developments.\nApply statistical and econometric techniques to forecast market demand, component pricing, and supply availability.\nIntegrate external market intelligence with internal procurement and planning data to identify risks and opportunities.\nAnalyze competitive dynamics, emerging technologies, and market shifts influencing long-term supply chain strategy.\nData Integration, Management & Automation\nIntegrate and validate data from multiple internal and external sources to establish reliable analytical datasets.\nDevelop automated data collection, transformation, validation, and reporting processes using Python, R, SQL, and other tools.\nSupport data governance, quality standards, and consistent definitions across analytical workflows.\nBuild scalable reporting frameworks and interactive dashboards to improve supply chain and market visibility.\nStatistical Analysis & Scenario Planning\nDevelop statistical models to analyze pricing trends, supply-demand relationships, and drivers of market variability.\nBuild scenario and sensitivity analyses to quantify changes in market conditions, supplier constraints, and business assumptions.\nEvaluate financial and operational implications of procurement and supply planning strategies.\nLeverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve analytical efficiency and decision quality.\nStrategic Analysis & Executive Decision Support\nPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business challenges into structured analytical projects.\nConduct market, competitive, financial, and technology research supporting strategic sourcing and supply chain planning.\nDevelop executive-level reporting, presentations, and recommendations communicating analytical findings and business implications.\nSupport time-sensitive analyses and strategic initiatives involving multiple business functions.\nRequired Skills and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.\nDemonstrated experience in data analytics, market intelligence, quantitative research, or data science.\nProficiency in analytical tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel.\nExperience with statistical analysis, forecasting, and integrating data from multiple sources.\nStrong understanding of data management, validation, automation, and analytical reporting.\nAbility to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.\nStrong communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nAbility to independently manage analytical initiatives and present findings to senior leadership.\n“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:\nMaster's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.\nExperience in technology markets, semiconductor industries, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise technology.\nBackground in market research, competitive intelligence, technology strategy, or strategic consulting.\nExperience with econometric modeling, market forecasting, and scenario analysis.\nFamiliarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.\nExperience supporting data governance, large-scale data integration, or business intelligence modernization.\nExperience leveraging machine learning, generative AI, or other advanced analytical techniques.\nPlease note that no relocation package is available for this role.\n#li-rj1\nSalary Range:\n$128,400-$173,700 per yearWe value people as individuals and our dedication is to reward people competitively and equitably for the work they do and the skills and experience they bring to Arm.
