You will develop physical implementations of Arm solutions, influencing designs to optimise power and performance and delivering implementations ready for tape-out.\nResponsibilities\nImplement Arm solutions through the physical design flow, from RTL to GDSII, including synthesis, floorplanning, place and route, static timing analysis, power analysis and physical verification.\nOptimise designs for power, performance and area as needed.\nCollaborate with design teams to influence system microarchitecture and implementation quality.\nSupport chip design partners with their physical implementation work.\nDevelop and deploy silicon implementation techniques and methodologies.\nRequired Skills and Experience\nExperience integrating large systems on chip (SoCs), with knowledge of power and physical architecture and design for test.\nUnderstanding of synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, constraint development and timing closure, alongside knowledge of Verilog or SystemVerilog and experience writing and validating UPF.\nExperience with physical implementation tools such as Genus, Innovus, Conformal Low Power, PrimeTime or Tempus, and programming experience with Tcl, Make and Linux shell.\nAbility to analyse problems, reason through solutions and communicate ideas, results and conclusions clearly as part of a team.\nNice-to-Have Skills and Experience\nKnowledge of systems architecture, Arm IP and Arm-based SoCs.\nInterest in AI hardware technology.\nProgramming experience for data processing and presentation.\nExperience with low-power design techniques, including clock and power gating, voltage and frequency scaling, and retention.\nUnderstanding of power delivery and experience of static and dynamic IR-drop analysis.\nA relevant STEM degree, such as electronics engineering or computer science, or equivalent practical experience.\nIn Return\nYou will apply your engineering skills to technologies used in devices and share your ideas with experienced colleagues.
