This role will lead all aspects of post-silicon firmware releases and defect management for our infrastructure platforms, while coordinating the engineering environment needs of the software organization.\nCome and make an impact at scale!\nJOB PURPOSE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead post-silicon firmware releases for Arm's datacenter SoC software project, covering release planning, readiness, quality and delivery across engineering teams and platform configurations.\nOwn defect management across firmware releases, establishing effective triage and prioritisation and providing clear visibility of release blockers and delivery risks.\nCoordinate CE-SW requirements for post-silicon development environments, translating engineering plans into demand for development boards, system configurations, debug equipment and lab capacity across projects and sites.\nCollaborate across Arm locations and engineering teams to align priorities and dependencies, resolve issues and improve the effectiveness of firmware delivery.\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nStrong experience in firmware or low-level system software, including the delivery of production-quality software for complex systems.\nExperience leading software releases, defect management or system integration activities across multiple engineering teams within SoC domain\nGood understanding of post-silicon firmware development, including software integration, validation, release processes and the hardware environments used for development and debug.\nExcellent technical judgement, problem-solving and communication skills, with effective collaboration across teams and geographical locations.\n“NICE TO HAVE” SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nKnowledge of server-class SoCs and production firmware for infrastructure platforms.\nFamiliarity with Arm-based systems and technologies such as Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A), UEFI EDK II, SCP/MCP firmware, Linux or OpenBMC.\nExperience with CI/CD, release automation, software configuration management, defect tracking or hardware debug environments.\nIN RETURN:\nThis role offers the opportunity to influence firmware quality and delivery while working across some of Arm’s most sophisticated platforms.\nJoin us and help shape world-class infrastructure technology at Arm!\nWe will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform crucial job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
