Whether it is high-performance compute on our infrastructure and in the cloud, Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, or customised software tools and workflows, the products, and services we deliver are used by every engineer in Arm.\nResponsibilities:\nWorking closely with technical leads, technical managers, project managers, and engineering teams across EIT, you will be contributing to providing automation solutions across varieties of application and cloud environment to deliver Licenses & Tools across the estate. There is a requirement to be part of an on-call rota.\nRequired Skills and Experience:\nSolid grasp on Linux OS fundamentals, solving various applications related issues.\nDegree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience).\nCustomer focused attitude.\nSolid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Automation, Jira, and Confluence experience).\nGood understanding of HPC infrastructure and applications concepts.\nStrong scripting skills (Bash, Perl, Python, etc.).\nExperience with cloud technologies like AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.\nExposure to HPC applications like Flex based Licenses, EDA tools and jobs schedulers like LSF are desirable.\nSolid understanding in building opensource tools like Python, GCC and LLVM in an Environment Module.\nSkills and attitude on automating common repetitive tasks.\nA suitable sense of ownership and responsibility in driving tasks to timely full completion.\n“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:\nAIOps and Observability.\nMeaningful experience in a distributed team\nWorking in a sophisticated, multi-geography, engineering services environment!\nProviding technical support and mentoring to others.\nOur 10x Mindset\nAt Arm, we believe progress happens when people are empowered to think bigger and push beyond what seems possible.
