The internship offers hands-on experience with industry-leading technologies, guidance from experienced engineers, and the opportunity to develop a practical solution that improves verification efficiency across future projects.\nWhat you could be doing as a Verification Intern:\nExplore existing verification flows for CoreSight debug and trace features, then develop a reusable testbench framework that makes new SoC environments easier to configure, validate, and scale. Key responsibilities include:\nReview current SoC-level verification flow, focusing on debug and trace features built around the CoreSight architecture.\nAssess existing testbench and see opportunities to improve reuse, scalability, and bring-up for new SoC environments.\nHelp to define architecture of a reusable testbench for SoC debug and trace verification.\nDevelop a plug-and-play framework that simplifies the integration of memory-map elements and selected CoreSight components.\nDemonstrate the framework using one or more representative SoC-level use cases.\nRun simulations and evaluate improvements in setup time and debugging effort compared with the existing approach.\nDocument the framework’s architecture, integration process, and reuse guidelines.\nWe are looking for individuals who:\nAre currently enrolled and studying towards a Master Degree in Electronic or Microelectronic Engineering, Computer science or equivalent. Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience. Also:\nKnowledge of SoC- and IP-level verification fundamentals\nFamiliarity with hardware description and verification languages, such as Verilog and SystemVerilog, and with the Universal Verification Methodology (UVM)\nProficiency in software programming\nQualities that will help your application stand out:\nAdept at acquiring new knowledge, highly motivated and driven by a strong work ethic\nUnderstanding of ARM architectures and Embedded Hardware Systems\nFluent oral and written english\nNatural affinity / confidence with mathematics\nAdditional Information:\nWe encourage early applications as we review them on a first come/first served basis.\nArm Internships require you to be enrolled in a higher education degree.\nThe internship duration is 6 months, starting in 2027.\nFrench Law requires students to complete an internship agreement (Convention de Stage). This is a tripartite agreement signed by the student, their home university and host organization, that facilitates an internship in France. It is the contract defining all the essential points of the internship: duration, missions, remuneration and benefits, insurance in the event of an accident, etc.\nIt is preferable that Arm's own template of the agreement is used. Successful applicants will be required to provide contact details of the appropriate university representatives in order to have the agreement signed.\nPlease note we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
