What you do here will not only define your career but help further Armada’s mission to bridge the digital divide for customers around the world. \nABOUT THE ROLE\nWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager Finance / Assistant Controller to lead day-to-day financial accounting, reporting, controllership, compliance, and process improvement initiatives. This role will report into the Regional Controller and partner closely with global finance leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.\nThe ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in US GAAP, Indian statutory accounting, financial controls, audit management, and stakeholder engagement. Big 4 audit or advisory experience is preferred, along with a proven track record in multinational environments.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nFinancial Accounting & Reporting\nManage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.\nEnsure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards.\nReview journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and balance sheet schedules.\nDrive compliance with accounting policies and internal reporting requirements.\nSupport consolidation and group reporting activities.\nStatutory & Regulatory Compliance\nOversee statutory audits, tax audits, and regulatory filings.\nEnsure compliance with Companies Act, GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations.\nCoordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.\nSupport transfer pricing and related compliance requirements.\nUS GAAP & Technical Accounting\nInterpret and implement US GAAP accounting guidance.\nEvaluate complex accounting transactions and prepare technical accounting memos.\nSupport adoption of new accounting standards and policy updates.\nPartner with global finance teams on accounting treatments and reporting requirements.\nAudit Management\nAct as the day-to-day liaison for internal and external auditors.\nManage audit planning, execution, and closure activities.\nEnsure timely resolution of audit observations and control deficiencies.\nDrive continuous improvement in audit readiness.\nBusiness Partnering & Leadership\nCollaborate with FP&A, tax, treasury, legal, and operational teams.\nProvide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.\nLead, mentor, and develop finance team members.\nDrive process automation and finance transformation initiatives.\nProcess Improvement & Systems\nEnhance accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.\nSupport ERP implementations and system upgrades.\nUtilize automation tools to streamline reporting and reconciliation activities.\nPromote best practices in financial operations and controls.\nGlobal Shared Services\nOversee day-to-day management of the Global Shared Services (GSS) function, ensuring efficient delivery of finance and accounting services across multiple geographies and business units.\nEstablish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and governance frameworks to ensure high-quality service delivery.\nPartner with global stakeholders to align shared services objectives with organisational priorities.\nBuild and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nChartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / ACCA / MBA Finance.\nBig 4 audit or advisory experience preferred.\nExperience\n8-10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.\nPrior experience with a Big 4 firm (Audit / Assurance / Advisory).\nExperience working with US-based multinational companies.\nExposure to shared services, global controllership, or finance transformation environments.\nExperience managing teams and interacting with senior leadership.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of US GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards.\nExperience in financial accounting, reporting, and controllership.\nUnderstanding of SOX / internal control frameworks.\nAdvanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.\nExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Dynamics.\nLeadership Skills\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.\nProven team management and mentoring experience.\nKEY SUCCESS METRICS\nTimely and accurate financial close and reporting.\nAudit findings and compliance performance.\nStrengthening of internal controls and governance.\nProcess efficiency and automation improvements.\nStakeholder satisfaction and team development.\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\nWe offer a competitive base salary along with equity options, providing an opportunity to share in the success and growth of Armada.
