This hands-on, automation-heavy role focuses on system reliability, scalability, and proactive problem prevention. You will be responsible for building and maintaining resilient infrastructure, automating repetitive tasks, monitoring, and improving\n\nperformance, and driving incident reduction strategies across hybrid cloud environments.\n\nThis role operates in a hybrid structure with on-site presence four days a week, specifically Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, based in Pune, India.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Additional duties may be assigned as required)\n\nAdminister and maintain Microsoft Entra ID and on-prem Active Directory environments.\nImplement conditional access, MFA, and identity protection policies per defined security standards.\nDeploy, patch, and maintain VMware vSphere environments.\nAdminister Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.\nWrite PowerShell/Python scripts to automate operational tasks and health checks.\nMaintain monitoring dashboards and alerts using Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.\nOperate Zerto replication and Rubrik backups; remediate failures and validate restore points.\nExecute DR tests and document results against defined RTO/RPO targets.\nApply infrastructure changes using existing Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines.\nParticipate in on-call rotation and perform first-line incident troubleshooting.\nContribute to root cause analysis and postmortems; implement assigned remediation actions.\nExecute the automated vulnerability patch management cycle.\nMaintain runbooks and operational documentation.\n\nRequired Skills\n\n3–5 years administering Windows-based production environments in an SRE, systems, or infrastructure engineering role.\nHands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter administration.\nHands-on experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and on-prem Active Directory, including conditional access and MFA policies.\nScripting in PowerShell or Python to automate operational tasks.\nExperience operating monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.\nWorking knowledge of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancing, VLANs.\nExperience participating in on-call rotations and incident response.\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nExposure to NSX-T or other software-defined networking.\nHands-on experience with Zerto replication and Rubrik backup platforms.\nFamiliarity with Terraform or Ansible (using existing modules/playbooks).\nExperience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or equivalent).\nExposure to AWS or Azure environments.\nLinux/Unix administration experience.\nBasic understanding of RTO/RPO and DR testing.\nAwareness of security and compliance frameworks (PCI, HIPAA, ISO).\nStrong troubleshooting skills in hybrid environments.\nGood written and verbal communication skills in English.\n\nWHY ARMOR\n\nJoin Armor if you want to be part of a company that is redefining cybersecurity.
