Period.\nRequirements\nAbout this role\nYou will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing DSP algorithms and firmware for our state-of-the-art RF products and radar systems.\nDevelop and implement real-time DSP algorithms for radar signal processing, including pulse compression, micro-Doppler processing, and target detection.\nWork with Software Defined Radios (SDRs), including RFSoC, to optimize signal acquisition and processing.\nDesign and optimize firmware for radar data acquisition, processing, and control.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including RF engineers and software developers, to integrate DSP firmware into the RF hardware system.\nPerform tests and troubleshoot RF system to ensure functionality and compliance with regulatory standards.\nStay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in RF technology.\nMust haves\nMin. 15 years of experience in developing DSP algorithms and firmware, with a strong focus on Signal Intelligence (SigInt) applications.\nHands-on experience with COMINT and ELINT signal processing.\nExperience with Software Defined Radios (SDRs) and RFSoC-based implementations.\nStrong understanding of radar signal processing concepts, including Pulse compression, Doppler processing, Beam-forming, Angle of Arrival/Estimation, DOA, MIMO & CFARs.\nExperience with communication protocols such as OFDM, QAM, and radar signal processing.\nProficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python and MATLAB, with experience in developing real-time embedded firmware.\nProficiency in working with DSP processors (TI, ADI, Xilinx, or equivalent).\nStrong debugging skills using lab instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, logic analysers).\nStrong communication and collaboration abilities.\nBonus points for\nExperience in designing and optimizing radar system FMCW chirps.\nKnowledge of radar architectures, including pulsed, CW, and FMCW radars.\nExperience with specific radar architectures, such as synthetic aperture radar (SAR) or phased array radar.\nKnowledge of radar performance metrics and analysis techniques, such as signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), probability of detection, and false alarm rate.\nFamiliarity with radar performance metrics, such as range resolution, Doppler resolution, and sensitivity.\nFamiliarity with radar system simulation tools, such as MATLAB Simulink or SystemVue.\nExperience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and validation of radar systems.\nWhat will make you successful in this role?\nExperience with AI/ML applications in DSP.\nDeep Technical Expertise in RF theory and practice\nUnderstanding of adaptive filtering and beam-forming algorithms.\nFamiliarity with software-defined radio (SDR) platforms.\nContributions to open-source DSP projects or published research in signal processing.\nAssembling an RF system in record time\nGetting s**t done\nHow will we set you up for success in this role?\nA live project: You will jump straight into a live project as soon as you join.
