You'll be part of an agile and dynamic workplace where today's solutions are built for tomorrow's challenges.\nIn this role, you will play a key part in working closely with field service engineers, quality engineers, and field services administration teams to meet our company’s and customers' business objectives. This role covers the North of the UK.\nKey Responsibilities:\nInstall, commission, repair, overhaul, and service our products, ensuring work quality meets or exceeds agreed standards, while strictly following established procedures.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues within our product range and root cause analysis\nProvide concise and accurate reports on work performed on-site, completing all associated job paperwork accurately and on time.\nStay up-to-date on the company’s product range, enabling you to promote and offer alternative equipment or services to customers, and identify opportunities for additional services during on-site visits.\nDeliver exceptional customer service, addressing individual customer requirements and providing proactive, efficient, and effective solutions.\nDevelop & coach members of the team\nProduct/Service Improvement:\nIdentify opportunities for improvements in products, services or operational practices.\nSupport the company by producing detailed internal reports on product failures and collaborate with the technical team to conduct on-site evaluations.\nActively engage in developing your technical knowledge and skills, participating in both on-the-job and off-the-job training opportunities.\nEnsure Standards:\nAdhere to safe working practices in line with current Health and Safety legislation.\nComply with all ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.\nProactively communicate and collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure customer service standards and business objectives are met.\nTeam Collaboration and Development:\nLead & Foster a collaborative team environment, maintaining strong relationships across company departments to ensure the effective delivery of services and achievement of business goals.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nTo thrive in this role, you should bring:\nEducation and Experience\nSubstantial work experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.\nGCSE qualifications (A-C) and/or A Levels and/or an Apprenticeship qualification/HNC.\n18th Edition qualification would be advantageous.\nA current and valid CSCS card or industry-recognised equivalent.\nExperience or understanding of relevant industries such as manufacturing, construction, or mechanical services.\nTechnical Skills\nKnowledge and practical experience of building management systems (BMS) and controls, with the ability to support the future growth of the Armstrong optimisation suite of products.\nSolid knowledge of HVAC products.\nSolid understanding of engineering principles and technical processes.\nAbility to complete reports and paperwork accurately and legibly.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and basic PC applications.\nA valid clean driving licence is essential.\nSoft Skills\nCapacity to work independently and with minimal supervision in the field.\nHigh levels of self-motivation, with a commitment to delivering quality and efficiency.\nA proactive and flexible approach.\nExceptional customer service and communication skills.\nAbility to work as part of a team and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers.\nDetail-oriented, proactive and able to perform well under pressure.\nWhy Armstrong Fluid Technology?\nBy joining us, you’ll become part of a global community dedicated to pushing the boundaries of fluid-flow technology.
