You'll be part of an agile and dynamic workplace where today's solutions are built for tomorrow's challenges.\nThe Pump Tester is responsible for testing Armstrong commercial pump products in accordance with testing processes and procedures.\nThis position is in Scarborough, Ontario and is assigned to the Afternoon Shift (3:30 pm - 12:00am)\nThe primary accountabilities of this position are:\nKey Responsibilities:\nSetup and unload pumps from the test stand. Set up includes connecting the pump to electrical supply and fitting test instrumentation.\nRun the pump test as per the testing procedure using the test computer terminal\nAssess the test results to ensure that all the criteria has passed and if not report any issues to QA.\nEnsure that test results are saved in correct computer file locations\nProgram variable frequency drive parameters when required.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nTo thrive in this role, you should bring\nElectrical or mechanical technician experience (diploma or trade certificate in electrical or mechanical disciplines)\nUse of computers and testing software, including Microsoft Excel and Windows Explorer\nExperience in measurement instrumentation such as flow meters, pressure transducers and power meters\nExperience in product testing, especially to a standard procedure or specifications\nExperience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in reading work orders and technical documents.\nStrong mathematic skills - Grade 12 high school equivalent required.\nExperience in programming VFD parameters considered an asset\nFamiliar with quality control and assurance practices such as completing inspection checks and raising non- conformance tickets\nHaving previously worked in factories that have ISO9001 accreditation is beneficial\nRange: $CAD19.00 - $CAD21.00 - hourly\nWhy Armstrong Fluid Technology?\nBy joining us, you’ll become part of a global community dedicated to pushing the boundaries of fluid-flow technology.
