This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in quality management, compliance,\nor technical administration.\nThe successful candidate will support the maintenance of quality management systems, ensure documentation accuracy, and assist with monitoring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal procedures. Working closely with\nengineers, installers, and the Quality Manager, the role plays an important part in ensuring operational quality across installations, servicing, and maintenance activities.\nKey Accountabilities:\nQuality Administration & Documentation\nMaintain and update quality documentation relating to HVAC installations, servicing, and maintenance activities.\nEnsure job files, certificates, commissioning documents, and service records are accurately stored and easily accessible.\nManage both digital and paper-based quality records in accordance with company procedures.\nAssist with document control processes including version management and record archiving.\nCompliance & Quality Systems Support\nSupport the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Quality\nManagement System (QMS).\nAssist in ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.\nHelp track non-conformances and support corrective and preventative action processes.\nAssist with maintaining calibration and maintenance records for equipment and tools. Audits, Inspections & Reporting\nSupport the preparation of internal audits and external inspections.\nAssist with gathering documentation and evidence required for compliance checks.\nHelp prepare quality reports and summaries for the Quality Manager.\nMonitor quality-related data and contribute to basic data analysis and reporting.\nQuality Monitoring & Continuous Improvement\nAssist with the collection and tracking of customer feedback and quality metrics.\nSupport investigations into quality issues and help track follow-up actions.\nContribute to initiatives that support continuous improvement in operational processes. Communication & Team Support\nLiaise with engineers, installers, and administrative staff to ensure\ndocumentation and quality procedures are followed.\nParticipate in toolbox talks and training sessions relating to quality, safety, and compliance.\nProvide general administrative support to the Quality Manager and wider operations team.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nTo thrive in this role, you should bring:\nEducation\nGCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics at Grade 4/C or above.\nA qualification in Business Administration, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field is desirable but not essential.\nAdditional training or short courses related to quality systems, compliance, or HVAC would be advantageous.\nExperience working with documentation, record management, or compliance\nprocesses.\nExposure to quality assurance, technical environments, construction, engineering, or HVAC sectors.\nExperience using document management systems or quality management systems.\nTechnical Skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.\nAbility to accurately input, manage, and analyse data.\nBasic understanding of quality assurance principles or compliance processes (desirable).\nFamiliarity with document control systems or digital record-keeping tools (desirable).\nWillingness to develop knowledge of HVAC systems, standards, and regulatory requirements.\nSoft Skills\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nExcellent organisation and time management skills.\nAnalytical mindset with a methodical approach to tasks.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively across teams including engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.\nProactive attitude and willingness to learn.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.\nWhy Armstrong Fluid Technology?\nBy joining us, you’ll become part of a global community dedicated to pushing the\nboundaries of fluid-flow technology.
