You will drive smart testing, digital transformation, automation, and data standardization initiatives supporting intelligent pump products across global manufacturing operations.\nKey Accountabilities\nSmart Testing Strategy & Automation\nLead smart testing and automation initiatives for intelligent pump products.\nDrive adaptive testing logic, automated sequencing, and test optimization to improve efficiency and accuracy.\nSupport development of future-ready automated test systems and validation platforms.\nContribute to technology roadmaps for next-generation test automation solutions.\nPLC / SCADA Architecture & Controls Engineering\nSupport PLC programming, SCADA development, maintenance, and lifecycle management for global test systems.\nStandardize PLC/SCADA architecture, reusable logic libraries, diagnostics, and safety functions.\nCoordinate control logic updates, version control, and system integration activities.\nTest Program Logic & Firmware Validation\nDevelop scalable and reusable test program logic aligned with intelligent pump control systems.\nSupport firmware testing, validation, and automated test sequence development.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to validate control algorithms and performance strategies.\nData Management, Analytics & Digital Transformation\nSupport centralized test data platforms with standardized data structures and governance.\nDrive automation of data acquisition, validation, analytics, reporting, and archival processes.\nEnable real-time analytics, predictive insights, and performance monitoring across global operations.\nDashboards, Reporting & Business Enablement\nDevelop dashboards and reporting tools for test performance, equipment utilization, and operational trends.\nSupport quality, engineering, manufacturing, and service teams with data-driven insights.\nDeliver automated compliance, validation, and audit reporting.\nGlobal Standardization & Compliance\nEstablish and maintain global standards for testing procedures, instrumentation, reporting, and documentation.\nEnsure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and customer standards.\nSupport audits, customer visits, and digital traceability initiatives.\nOperational Excellence & Continuous Improvement\nDrive improvements in test efficiency, equipment reliability, first-pass yield, and operational performance.\nSupport continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives using analytics-driven insights.\nContribute to global operational excellence and standardization programs.\nIndustrial IoT & System Integration\nSupport Industrial IoT connectivity and integration with MES, ERP, PLM, and enterprise analytics platforms.\nEvaluate and implement emerging technologies such as digital twins, adaptive controls, and smart automation.\nSupport deployment of automated test infrastructure and standardized HMI/SCADA interfaces.\nKnowledge Management & Collaboration\nMaintain digital documentation for test systems, control logic, calibration, and validation records.\nProvide training, mentoring, and technical support to global engineering and operations teams.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, IT, quality, and product teams.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nTo thrive in this role, you should bring:\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.\n7+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, Industrial IoT, or smart manufacturing environments.\nStrong experience with PLC/SCADA systems, automation, instrumentation, and test system development.\nExperience with intelligent products, embedded controls, and data-driven manufacturing environments.\nExposure to digital transformation, analytics platforms, and global standardization initiatives is preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nAdvanced PLC programming skills \nStrong understanding of SCADA systems, industrial communication protocols, and system integration.\nExperience with test automation, instrumentation, firmware validation, and control logic development.\nKnowledge of Industrial IoT platforms, data acquisition systems, analytics, SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar tools.\nFamiliarity with MES, ERP, PLM, and enterprise analytics integrations.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.\nSoft Skills\nStrong systems-thinking and problem-solving mindset.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills in global, cross-functional environments.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.\nProactive, organized, and continuous improvement-oriented approach.\nLeadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management capabilities.\nWhy Armstrong Fluid Technology?\nBy joining us, you’ll become part of a global community dedicated to pushing the boundaries of fluid-flow technology while upholding Armstrong's commitment to sustainability.
