You will have the opportunity to support the execution of production plans and achieving production goals within established timelines. A successful candidate will drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring adherence to our high-quality standards and following all safety and company guidelines.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOversees and coordinates the effective and efficient use of all pump manufacturing equipment, tools, and personnel.\nOversees and coordinates equipment maintenance and repairs to prevent\nTrain employees how to manufacture pumps and make recommendations for further training.\nTrain Employees to build quality pumps as per the build procedures, SOPs and in a timely manner to support the company’s effectivity, efficiency, and utilization goals\nParticipate and enforce all Health and Safety Procedures and Policies.\nMake recommendations, participate, and lead in continuous Improvement projects\nMake recommendations on staffing, disciplinary actions, and employee achievements\nEmpower and engage employees to create a teamwork environment so they can be successful.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nTo thrive in this role, you should bring:\nMinimum 3-years’ Pump Manufacturing experience is desired\nUse of computers software, including excel and windows explorer\nExperience in a manufacturing environment where safety and lean culture is practiced and implemented.\nExperience in a manufacturing environment particularly in reading work orders and technical d\nGrade 12 high school or equivalent\nStrong computer skills and familiarity is\nFamiliar with quality control and assurance practices such as being able to complete inspection check sheets and raise non-conformance tickets.\nPrevious experience in factories that have ISO9001 accreditation is\nAbility to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well-thought-out\nStrong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for\nSelf-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on\nAbility to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations\nWhy Armstrong Fluid Technology?\nBy joining us, you’ll become part of a global community dedicated to pushing the boundaries of fluid-flow technology.
