Work is performed through the application of a body of knowledge related to the methods, practices, procedures, policies and regulations of this field.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nMaintains an effective group of Quality personnel for all areas assigned through leadership, delegation and example to maintain high levels of Quality Assurance with all production at ARO.\nActively participates in meetings with Production, Test and Management personnel in order to efficiently resolve any issues arising in day to day operations.\nMakes decisions using Quality acceptance criteria - if unknown, must be able to seek assistance through research, past experience and supervisors.\nSeeks ways to improve the performance, Quality and integrity of the product which may be approached through the use of tools, training, or re-design of equipment.\nInteracts with engineering to incorporate new ideas to improve product and performance.\nKeeps track of employee records and ensures all training is up to date - must also give input on employee competence. \nMaintains a good rapport with fellow employees, customers, external auditors and government contracted inspectors.\nEffectively communicates ideas, work instructions and expectations in an efficient and respectful manner.\nReads drawings, SPI’s, contracts, standards and specs to understand specific requirements from customers and translates those requirements into SOP’s, IP’s and Work Orders.\nOccasionally travels to represent the company at other Armtec facilities, vendors and contractors. \nMaintains the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.\nUnderstands and lives by Armtec’s ethics and business conduct policies.\nQualificationsProficient in Excel spreadsheets; data analysis, formatting of usable tables and other evaluation documents.\nAbility to work well in a team environment.\nMeticulous attention to detail.\nWorking knowledge of Statistical Process Control and associated data analysis.\nProficient at reading and generating charts and graphs;
