This role focuses on facilitating the optimization of production processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring seamless cross-functional product launches. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement and field teams to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and uphold the highest standards of quality throughout the product lifecycle.\nThis position is on-site at our Sacramento, CA manufacturing facility, with periodic visits to our Mountain View office and active job sites.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nProduct Launch and New Product Introduction (NPI)\nFacilitate the development and selection of new advancements to our current product and future products\n\nLead the integration of new products into manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet design, quality, and efficiency standards.\n\nPerform prototyping, iterative testing, and feedback analysis to refine products and processes.\n\nFacilitate product changes and transitions across manufacturing and field operations, maintaining a seamless workflow.\n\nProcess Optimization and Lean Implementation\nAssist in analyzing current manufacturing workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.\n\nHelp streamline operations and reduce waste using lean principles.\n\nOptimize material flow and inventory management to achieve cost savings and enhance productivity.\n\nContinuous Improvement and Team Collaboration\nLead and participate in Kaizen events and other continuous improvement projects.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to solve production challenges and implement sustainable solutions.\n\nTrain manufacturing and field staff on new processes and lean methodologies to ensure compliance and adaptability.\n\nPerformance Measurement and Documentation\nHelp establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, labor efficiency, production speed, and material utilization.\n\nMaintain comprehensive documentation for product launches, process changes, and improvement projects.\n\nPrepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.\n\nTechnology and Compliance\nBenchmark, evaluate and recommend advanced technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities and automation.\n\nEnsure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies across all processes.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field/experience.\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in NPI, process engineering, or lean manufacturing within a production environment.\n\nProven expertise in applying lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and Agile principles to improve operations.\n\nStrong analytical skills and experience with CAD systems, manufacturing software, and process mapping tools.\n\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and train staff effectively.\n\nExperience with Jira or Agile project management is a plus.\n\nExperience in off-site construction or modular building a plus.\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\n\nWhat we offer:\nOpportunity to join an outstanding start-up team and grow a purpose-driven company from the ground up.\n\nCompetitive salary package.\n\nMedical/dental/vision benefits.\n\nEquity in the company.\n\nFlexible Time Off.\n\nAt Aro Homes, we are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
