We have a culture that gives you the opportunity to innovate, take ownership, and scale new heights in your career as the company grows.\nWe have a new opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our Belfast team and take ownership of day-to-day transactional finance activities. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to develop their career in a dynamic, fast-growing listed business.\nThe role is based in our Belfast city centre office, with flexibility for hybrid working.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nProcess and match purchase invoices (approximately 50 per month) and ensure suppliers are paid within agreed terms\nRaise sales invoices and support the cash collection process\nPerform daily bank reconciliations across all Group entities\nManage treasury activities, reconciling approximately 60 transactions per month and preparing weekly cash position reports\nAssist with the preparation of monthly accruals, prepayments and allocation entries\nPrepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations\nSupport the Purchase Order process, working with budget holders across the business\nAssist with statutory reporting by providing supporting schedules when requested\nWhat we’re looking for\nWe would expect candidates for this role to meet most or all of the following criteria:\nPrevious experience in a transactional finance role (AP, AR or treasury)\nStudying towards an accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) is advantageous\nGood working knowledge of accounting systems;
