This role serves as a trusted subject matter expert and works closely with Commercial, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Legal teams to provide guidance on trade compliance requirements that support business objectives while minimizing regulatory risk.\nThe ideal candidate possesses deep trade compliance expertise, strong knowledge of import and export regulations, and the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and apply them to business transactions, customer opportunities, supplier relationships, and operational activities.\nKey Job Responsibilities:\nEnsure compliance with applicable import, export, customs, sanctions, and trade regulations.\n\nServe as a subject matter expert on trade compliance matters across Commercial, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, and other business functions.\n\nReview and provide guidance on import and export transactions to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.\n\nPerform tariff classification, country-of-origin determinations, denied party screening reviews, and trade compliance assessments.\n\nSupport export control compliance activities, including product classifications, licensing requirements, and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) reviews.\n\nPartner with Commercial and Sales teams to evaluate international business opportunities and identify trade compliance requirements and risks.\n\nCollaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into business processes.\n\nManage and support relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and external trade compliance partners.\n\nConduct compliance audits, assessments, and reviews to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.\n\nMonitor and interpret changes in trade regulations and communicate regulatory impacts to stakeholders.\n\nMaintain trade compliance documentation, records, procedures, and internal controls.\n\nInvestigate trade compliance issues and support corrective action implementation as needed.\n\nDevelop and deliver trade compliance training and awareness programs across the organization.\n\nSupport internal audits, government inquiries, and compliance reviews.\n\nPromote a culture of compliance through partnership, education, and proactive risk management.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\n7+ years of experience in trade compliance, import/export compliance, customs compliance, international trade, or a related field.\n\nStrong knowledge of import and export regulations, customs requirements, tariff classification, country-of-origin determinations, and trade documentation requirements.\n\nExperience supporting export compliance programs, including EAR classifications and licensing requirements.\n\nExperience conducting compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments.\n\nAbility to interpret and apply complex regulations to business activities and transactions.\n\nExperience partnering with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, and Logistics.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\n\nBachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.\n\nProfessional trade compliance certifications (CCS, CES, LCB, or similar) are preferred.\n\nAt Array Tech, Inc., we strive to lead with our culture, and believe that our people are a key enabler of our future state.
