Prior work experience in a venture-backed company is a big plus.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and develop data path solutions for L3 (IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, SR/SRv6, VRF, L3VPN) and L2 (STP, LLDP, sFlow, LAG, MLAG) networking technologies.\nArchitect and implement QoS features, including queueing, classification, policing, shaping, ACL, ECN, and WRED.\nWork with ASIC families (e.g., BCM XGS, BF Tofino) and develop software using BCM SDK, P4, and DPDK.\nOptimize and enhance Linux networking internals, including memory management, network stack, and hardware abstraction layers (RIB, FIB, HAL).\nDevelop and maintain high-availability (HA) solutions, ISSU, and Linux-based networking systems.\nWork on Debian packaging, Linux kernel modifications, and kernel networking stack optimizations.\nDevelop and integrate software for containerized and virtualized networking environments.Requirements:\nEducation: BS/MS/PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field.\nExperience:\n. 8+ years of hands-on development experience in networking software development.\nStrong proficiency in C/C++/Go/Python programming.\nDeep understanding of ASIC pipeline architectures and networking hardware.\nHands-on experience with Linux OS internals, Debian build/packaging, and kernel networking stack.\nExperience with RIB, FIB, HAL, and high-availability (HA) networking solutions.\nKnowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtual machines (VMs) is a plus.
